Assassin’s Creed 3 Comic-Con Footage Released
Salman Hamid – If you’re a fan of Assassin’s Creed and you missed the Assassin’s Creed III panel at Comic Con worry not, because Ubisoft just released the entire footage from the Announcements and Q&A session.
The new trailer which involves Conner fighting his way through enemy lines in the middle of a battle between the British and American revolutionaries and assassinating the commander, who is then revealed to be a Templar.
There’s also about five minutes of game play footage of Connor in Boston, showcasing dual-wielding combat, new blending systems, tree climbing, and the use of the new rope dart.
Creative Director Alex Hutchinson revealed that this would be the largest Assassin’s Creed game to date, with three main areas: New York, Boston, and the Frontier. To give us an idea of just how big it is, he also said the Frontier alone is about one-and-a-half times bigger than Rome was in Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, and that the game featured changing weather systems.
Not much was stated regarding the Naval battles the game is said to contain, besides that the boats were all historically accurate and that sea combat was affected by the new weather system.
