Resident Evil 6 to have Over 255 Minutes of Cutscenes

By   /   Jul 10, 2012

Capcom’s Resident Evil 6 will contain a boatload of cinematics…just how many? Try more than four hours worth of non-interactive cutscenes.

This news was revealed by The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC), which is the British counterpart of the US’ ESRB. Resident Evil 6 unsurprisingly got a rating of “18” so you need to be over that age if you’re thinking of getting it.

According to the ratings board, the game will feature approximately about four hours and 15 minutes’ worth of cutscenes.

While this might put off some people, it’s worth noting that Resident Evil 6 will have three separate campaigns — one for each of the game’s protagonists (Leon, Chris and Jake).

Capcom has also gone on the record that RE6 will be longer compared to RE5. So all this concern might be for naught.

Resident Evil 6 will be out on October 2 for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
