Warner Bros. Reveals Spy Hunter for Handhelds

If you don’t know or remember the Spy Hunter games, I don’t blame you as the game was popular back in the 80’s — y’know, back when HD and all the sort weren’t even known yet.

Well, Warner Bros. is looking to rekindle that fire once more with the announcement of a Spy Hunter reboot for the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS.

The game’s main selling-point — the Interceptor car — will be making a return; and as usual, it will be able to transform from supercar to off-road assault to speed boat. This will allow the player to go around where they like within the game’s branching mission tracks.

Players will also be able to upgrade the Interceptor’s weapons and gadgets as they play through the game.

Take a look at the debut trailer showing off the Interceptor.

Spy Hunter is being developed by TT Games and is set for a fall release on the PlayStation Vita and 3DS.
