Warner Bros. Announces Harry Potter for Kinect

While Sony’s PlayStation Move might have Sorcery, Microsoft can now boast that it has the most famous boy wizard in history as Warner Bros. has just announced Harry Potter for Kinect.

The game will be based on all eight Harry Potter films and will let gamers cast spells, play Quidditch and even battle Lord Voldemort without having to need to pick up a controller.

Not only that, but players can also scan their own face and be part of the action themselves. So if you ever wanted to be one of Harry Potter’s chums, then now’s your chance.

Warner Bros. has also released a trailer showcasing some of the things users can do once they board the Hogwarts Express again.

Harry Potter for Kinect is being developed by Eurocom and is scheduled to be out this autumn for the Xbox 360.
