Microsoft’s Larry Hryb (Major Nelson) has just announced that Capcom’s Kinect mech game Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor now has a demo up on Xbox LIVE.
This “groundbreaking” collaborative project between Capcom and From Software puts players into the cockpit of an actual mech. The game’s premise states it’s set in Manhattan in 2082, the greatest nations of the world continue to battle for hegemony…and I’m expecting, things explode, people die and the player needs to save the world, right?
Forget about the game’s story, just remember that the game will let you use the Kinect to control gigantic mechs and that’s basically all you need to know.
If you like the demo, don’t forget that the actual game will be out this June 19 exclusively for Xbox 360 and Kinect.
