The latest trailer for Beenox’s upcoming game tie-in to The Amazing Spider-Man movie features the “web rush” game mechanic…think of it as Spidey’s version of “bullet time” where whenever he uses it, time moves much slower to allow him to make decisions on the fly.
Web rush puts the player’s viewpoint into first-person and it can be used to navigate the game’s surroundings and even for combat.
Looks quite impressive for a game adaptation of a movie, no?
The Amazing Spider-Man is being developed by Beenox and is scheduled to be out on June 29 for almost all the gaming platforms Spidey can crawl on (ie: PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS).
