Spec Ops: The Line Multiplayer Will Put Sand in Your Pants
While most people will peg this as another military shooter, the game seems to mix it up a bit by using sand as an important factor in firefights. For those confused, the game takes place in Dubai, which happens to have the largest sandstorms in recorded history.
The game’s multiplayer will have gamers taking the roles of “The Exiles” and “The Damned.” It will be a team-based affair which promises to have “class-based skills and rewards” — or in other words, pretty much what most people expect from a military multiplayer shooter these days.
While we’re not treated to a ton of gameplay, it seems the sand will really be an integral part of the multiplayer offering. There will be sandtraps, sandstorms and whatnot.
Are you excited for what you’ve seen so far? Spec Ops: The Line will be out this coming June 26 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
