First up, we have episode 1 of Capcom’s Street Fighter X Tekken CGI mini-movie. While the dialogue is in Japanese, we’re still treated to some slick fighting and animation – which, I’m sure fighting game and anime fans will love.
Next up, the publisher has also released the official trailer for the PS Vita version of its crossover fighting game. What makes this different from the console versions? Well, aside from being on a handheld, the PS Vita version will be bringing in new fighters to the mix.
From Street Fighter’s universe comes Sakura, Blanka, Elena and Dudley; while the Tekken side brings in Christie and Lei Wulong.
Aside from the new fighters, the trailer also reveals that cross-platform play will be available for the PS3 and PS Vita versions! Not only that, but owning the PS Vita version of the game will unlock new characters players can use in the PS3 version – talk about cross-platform promotion, no?
Sadly, no release date was given for the game just yet, but we’ll keep you posted if and when Capcom releases the official word.
