Mass Effect 3 To Get Closure With Free Extended Cut DLC

By   /   Apr 5, 2012

Bioware will be honoring their promise of giving a proper closure to Mass Effect 3’s ending with the release of extended cut DLC.

Extended Cut DLC is scheduled to release in summer and will feature new cinematics and epilogue scenes, which will give a proper closure to the game, and it will be available for free on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Bioware Founder Dr. Ray Muzyka branded this move as an ideal way to keep the creative vision of Mass Effect 3 and appease the disgruntled fans.

Since launch, we have had time to listen to the feedback from our most passionate fans and we are responding. With the Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut we think we have struck a good balance in delivering the answers players are looking for while maintaining the team’s artistic vision for the end of this story arc in the Mass Effect universe.

This announcement should be shocking for those who voted to make EA ‘the worst company‘ in America. Will this stop the fans raging over the bad ending? I hope so. In any case, I think EA and Bioware deserve a THANK YOU from fans.
