In this guide we’ll go over the methods of getting 3-stars in every level for the chapter Cold Cuts. We already have a guide for the first chapter, Pig Bang. For more help on Angry Birds Space, read our Golden Eggsteroids Locations.
But first, here’s an overview of general tips to get high-scores:
General Tips for High Scores
- Launching fewer birds to complete a level will mean that you will get additional points (usually 10,000 per unused bird), so make sure to finish things with as few of those birdies as possible.
- Try to cause as much structural havoc as possible; you get points for creating chaos, even if it is just toppling buildings or tossing around rocks in space.
- Material strength varies in Angry Birds; wood is the weakest, followed by ice, and finally rock, which is the toughest material. Try to aim for the weakest materials first to conserve birds and do heavy damage to structures.
- Freezing structures with the ice bird and following with the small blue birds will ensure massive amount of destruction.
- At times shooting backwards in space works better than the conventional ways. Some levels actually require that.
Brrr! Talk about chilly weather! The chapter Cold Cuts introduces you to the all-new unique bird Froshh, and is relatively more challenging than Pig Bang.
Level 1: Easy as ever, just shoot the bird absolutely straight. It’ll hit the ice on the far right which will shatter and send off ice shrapnel, taking out everything else.
Level 2: It’s very difficult to complete this level with just one bird, so don’t try to do so. Aim the first red bird at the rock directly beneath the frozen planetoid with gravity.
Next, aim the blue birds in between the planetoid’s gravity field’s periphery and its surface. Release the birds just as the escape out of the gravity field. This should take out all the pigs.
Level 3: Aim at the lower part of the highest rock and let the bird explode on its own.
Use the next bird to take out the protected pig in the bottom (you can just send him into the frozen planetoid’s gravity field which should be enough to finish him).
If one pig still remains, simply use the remaining bird in such a manner that it disrupts the other structures while also taking out the pig.
Level 4: This level introduces you to the main bird of the chapter, Froshh. Aim the bird at the center of the structure and make it explode upon impact to freeze it.
Aim the blue bird in the same area and release them midway. This should do enough damage and destruction to give you 3-stars.
Level 5: Take a close look at the TNTs in the back and the material of the circular structures protecting the pigs.
First, use the ice bird on the center structure, followed by the small birds to take out the middle pig and structure. Next, carefully use the Zzzt bird and direct it through the wooden part of the first pig’s structure.
Next, use the ice bird in such a way that it penetrates through the wood part of the last structure and takes out the pig. This will save you one bird and should give you sufficient points for 3-stars.
Level 6: Fairly simple level. Use the ice bird on the lowermost structure. Shoot the bird from beneath the ice planetoid.
This should detonate the TNT and also take out the middle pig. Shoot the next bird in the same direction and release just before they are near the remaining pig. You last bird should remain unused.
Level 7: Your aim in this level is not to conserve birds but to destroy as much structures as possible. Use the ice bird and aim so that it lands just at part of the castle-like structure that protects the second closest pig.
Next, aim the small birds in the same region and release them only a short while before they are about to hit the castle structure. After that aim the remaining red bird in such a manner that it directly hits the closest pig. The bird should roll down and take out the remaining pigs.
Level 8: Aim the bomb bird down and right in between the two planetoids’ gravitational fields. Let the bird explode by itself.
Next, aim the blue birds in the exact same manner and release them right when they enter the second planetoid’s gravity field. This should cause enough demolition to take out all the remaining pigs.
Level 9: Aim the small birds so their trajectory intersects the closest structure’s triangular shaped top.
Release the birds just before they are about to hit the structure. This should send off one of the 3 birds flying and hitting those joined rocks on the other planetoid, making them fall and take out all the pigs.
Level 10: The spot to hit in this level is a bit tricky, but only requires the first Zzzt bird.
The structure is generally very stable, but it has a weak point. Aim the bird so that its projectile trajectory is well above the structure.
As it passes the structure, you must look to hit the inclined rock slab which is to the right of the highest located pig. If you manage to hit that slab properly, it will destabilize the entire structure and make it fall, hence taking out all the pigs.
Level 11: This is a very tricky stage. There is one annoying weak spot to that massive structure with so many pigs in it. Aim the ice bird in such a way that it is just above the crater closest to the catapult.
If it is done correctly, the bird will miss everything, hit the icy formation behind the structure with pigs, and topple and take out the entire place by itself – hard to pull off, but very satisfying to watch.
Level 12: This is a very easy level if you are smart. All you have to do is shoot the bird backwards and direct it to the highest located pig. This should make the trusses fall and take out the pigs hanging on them and the one of the planetoid’s surface.
Level 13: This is a slightly difficult level because of the timing it requires. Shoot the Zzzt bird downwards in such a way that it is exactly tangent to the circular parameter of the gravitational field.
Wait for the bird to revolve past both the frozen planetoids. As it nears the unfrozen rocky planetoid, direct it on the top most structure with the TNT inside it. This should cause lots of debris to go around, out of which a few will hit the pigs and take them out.
Level 14: Direct the small birds so that their trajectory path intersects the tip of the closest triangular ice structure. Release them just before they are about to hit the triangle.
This should take out half of the entire structure. Next, use the second blue birds and aim for the glass area. Release them just before they are about to hit it. Then, use the Zzzt bird and aim it at the same location. Direct it towards the further most pig and it should take out both the two remaining pigs.
Level 15: This is a very fun level. Aim anticlockwise with the bomb bird with a big angle to take out the closest structure (located at 8 o’clock). Be patient and watch as all the pigs are taken out!
Level 16: Say hello to big bad Bash; he’s the replacement of the giant red bird in the original Angry Birds.
Like his predecessor, this green boy packs a huge punch. Aim just over the top of the closest square box and release. This will eliminate many pigs and send the remaining flying into the gravity field.
Level 17: Aim just at the lowest pig in the nearest tower. This will destroy the entire first tower structure.
Next aim high for a large trajectory towards middle region of the bigger further tower. This will topple it and take out the pigs below as well.
Level 18: This is a tricky level. You have to aim in such a manner that it just topples the vertical rock plate on top of the middle tower.
Just topple that and it will create enough destruction to take out everything. If one or two pigs do remain, you can take them out with the second bird. The objective is to create as much chaos as possible.
Level 19: Aim in such a way that the trajectory path is perfectly tangent to the gravity circle. This will topple the circular rock on the first planetoid, and cause a chain destruction to take out all three planetoids’ pigs.
Level 20: Aim in such a way that the end of the trajectory path is on the tip of the second closes triangular ice structure. This will send the bird rolling across the entire planetoid and finishing out the pigs.
Level 21: Aim the ice bird at the closest pig so it directly hits it; let it explode on its own.
Now, use the Zzzt bird BACKWARDS and make it revolve around the planet counter-clockwise. As it comes from the right side, direct the bird through the lower right side of the tower to topple it.
Level 22: Aim the bomb bird so that it hits the lower part of the top of the two rocks that are just above the rock cluster with the pigs attached to it. Let the bird explode by itself.
This will cause the rock cluster to slow but surely fall into the ice planetoid’s gravity field and finish off the pigs.
Level 23: This is a slightly difficult level to get 3-stars in. Aim the ice bird at an approximate 30 degree angle. Let the bird explode on its own when it impacts.
Next, release the blue birds in the same manner but with a slightly lower angle. Release them when they enter the second planetoid’s gravity field (not the intersecting region of the two gravity fields but the lone region). They should revolve anti-clockwise and take out the entire remaining structures.
Level 24: This level looks harder than it is. Aim the ice bird so it hits the closest structure with the loosely placed wooden plank on top. The bird will hit it and fall to the lower part of the castle structure.
Let the bird freeze by itself. Next, direct the blue birds at the frozen areas (tangent to the circle), releasing them right when they enter the gravity field.
Now, use the Zzzt bird and send it off into space above the structure. Wait for it to get elevation and distance, and then direct it through the TNT box from the upper right side.
Level 25: Aim the bird it a negative 30 degree angle and release a short while after they entire the atmosphere. Next, release the birds at a positive 30 degree angle and release just before they are about to hit the remaining bit of the structure.
Level 26: Aim high so the bird topples the rock slab on the closest pig’s structure. Aim the next bird so it topples the rock slab on the second furthest pig’s structure. That should take out all the pigs.
Level 27: Once again, this level is quite simple if you know what to do. Aim the Zzzt bird directly tangent to the surface of the rock planetoid.
Wait for the bird to make nearly an entire revolution around the next ice planetoid, and direct it through the TNT that is under the bridge connecting the two planetoids. This will detonate the other TNT on the adjacent side and take out all the pigs.
Level 28: Aim the bird counter-clockwise at a 45 degree angle and let it do its own stuff. Provided you’ve aimed properly at the specified angle and you let it explode on its own, the bird will take out everything from behind.
Level 29: Aim at the left vertical glass panel of the leftmost planetoid, and let the bird explode by itself.
Next, aim in a similar manner except slightly lower this time (closer to the lower part of the gravity circle of the planetoid). This will send the bird off in an arc and hit the furthermost planetoid, taking out the remaining pigs.
Level 30: Boss time! The easiest way to end this is a perfect shot that hits the ball of ice suspended by the string on the upper right corner (hit the ball, not the string!). This will send so much debris that you won’t even notice how quickly the king pig goes down.
