Angry Birds Space 3 Stars Pig Bang Guide

Angry Birds Space
Fellow mobile gamers, do you know what time it is! Yes, you’ve guessed it right, it’s Angry Birds Space time!

Angry Birds Space has recently come for iOS, Android, Mac and PC, and once again everyone’s busy trying to fend off those problematic green pigs.

If you wish to do it with perfection, then we’ve got a guide for you with tips and strategies for attaining 3-stars in every level.

For more help on Angry Birds Space, read our Golden Eggs Locations.

We’ll cover each chapter individually. In this guide, we’ll go over the 3-star strategy for the 30 levels of the first chapter, called Pig Bang, but first are a few general tips to keep in mind for any level type:

General Tips for High Scores:

  • Launching fewer birds to complete a level will give you higher scores, so make sure to finish things with as few birds as possible.
  • Doing as much damage as possible (to structures and pigs) will earn you more points – try to topple and destroy as much as you can.
  • Material strength varies in Angry Birds. Wood is the weakest, then ice, and finally rock, which is the toughest. Try to aim for the weakest materials first to conserve birds and do much damage to structures.
  • Freezing structures with the ice bird and following with the 3 small blue birds will ensure massive amount of destruction.
  • Sometimes shooting backwards in space is a better idea than the conventional direction.

Angry Birds Space – Pig Bang Walkthrough

Level 1: Nothing to it really. There’s just one pig on two wooden sticks. One bird should be enough to take the pig out. Make sure to topple the wooden sticks to get maximum points.

Required points for 3-stars: 26,000

Level 2: This time there are three pigs. Once again, one bird is enough to take all three out, since you will revolve around the planetoid. Try to topple as many of those stands on which the pigs are resting as you can to get max points.

Required points for 3-stars: 44,000

Level 3: Don’t let that big structure of concrete and rock fool you. Just follow the last general tip stated above; aim backwards and you should be able to revolve anti-clockwise and take out pig from behind, ninja style.

Required points for 3-stars: 25,000

Level 4: The structure is very unstable. The trick here is to use one bird to shoot just over the nearest pig. This will hit the grey brick behind it, and will topple the entire structure, taking out all the pigs and giving you max points.

Required points for 3-stars: 67,000

Level 5: In this level you’ll be utilizing the gravity of the two planetoids. Aim just on the second gravitational circle of the first planetoid with full pull-back to make your bird enter the second planet’s gravitational field from below and take out the pig in an anti-clockwise direction.

Required points for 3-stars: 26,000

Level 6: You will need to bounce off the rock behind the floating pig to actually hit both the pigs with a single bird, which is the easiest way of getting 3-stars in this round.

Aim slightly above the first mountain-shaped rock formation to fly past the floating pig. You’ll bounce off the rock behind it and hit the floating pig and eventually fall to hit the pig on the planetoid.

Required points for 3-stars: 30,000

Level 7: Shoot from under the planetoid with the pigs to revolve in an anti-clockwise direction. This will allow you to hit the furthest pig from behind and topple the structure onto the other pig.

Required points for 3-stars: 38,000

Level 8: This is the first introduction to the BipBapBop bird(s). It is possible to earn 3 stars with two shots in this level. However, you can take the two pigs out in one shot by aiming at the third panel of the dome covering the smaller pig. Release the three birds just when they are near the dome to take out both pigs in a single shot.

Required points for 3-stars: 49,000

Level 9: All you have to do is push the two floating pigs behind the ice squares into the gravity field. To do so, aim at the center of the ice structures and release the birds just before they hit it. This should push both pigs into the planetoid’s field.

Required points for 3-stars: 35,000

Level 10: Fire the bird through the exact center of the meeting region of the two planetoid’s gravity fields. Just before the bird hits the first glass wall, release them. If the shot was straight, two of the birds will revolve in opposite directions and individually take out the two pigs.

Required points for 3-stars: 38,000

Level 11: Aim directly at the center and closest floating pig inside the structure. Just before the bird hits the structure, release them so they can spread and take out the remaining pigs. One shot is enough for this.

Required points for 3-stars: 51,000

Level 12: Aim the shot from beneath the first planetoid, just tangent to the inner gravitational circle. Release the birds right when they make contact with the first gravitational circle to watch them move into the second planetoid’s gravity and take out the three pigs.

Required points for 3-stars: 54,000

Level 13: Aim high enough to hit the wooden piece just below the grey concrete block. This should cause enough damage to take out all the pigs. Only one bird is sufficient to do the work.

Required points for 3-stars: 45,000

Level 14: Say hello to the Ka-Booms! These bad boys will do tons of damage, and you can actually earn more points by using up all the birds. This makes this level fairly simple, as you can attempt to disintegrate as much of the harmonious structures as possible while taking out the pigs.

Required points for 3-stars: 76,000

Level 15: Aim for the largest rock vertically below the center pig. Don’t explode the bird manually, so it can cause as much damage as possible before exploding. This should send off enough rubble about to take out all three pigs.

Required points for 3-stars: 38,000

Level 16: Aim for the center of the nearby planet with all that trash. Don’t explode the bird manually; wait for it to hit the planet’s surface and then explode it. This should cause enough impact to send off sufficient pieces flying to take out the pigs.

Required points for 3-stars: 90,000

Level 17: Aim for the closest octagonal structure. Wait for the bird to hit its center and then explode it. This should start off a chain reaction to take out all the pigs.

Required points for 3-stars: 123,000

Level 18: Aim just above the second closest rock to the birds. You want to explode the bird just above the rock to send it flying down and to the right, which should cause enough rocks to fall in to the planetoid’s gravity to take out all the pigs.

Required points for 3-stars: 74,000

Level 19: Aim for the top pig inside the nearest structure on the planetoid’s surface and explode the bird when it gets to the center of the structure. This should create a chain reaction and take out every pig on the screen.

Required points for 3-stars: 83,000

Level 20: Folks, it’s time to meet the ninja-cum-Cyclops bird Zzt.

This level is really simple because of them. You can tap anywhere on the screen to change the directly of the bird’s flight. Shoot the bird above or below the planet. As the bird passes the planet, tap on the screen to guide the bird through the pigs in ninja-style.

Required points for 3-stars: 26,000

Level 21: Another easy one. Shoot the bird above the tower-like structure with the pig inside it. Right when the bird is on top of the tower, guide it in between to topple it and take out the two pigs.

Required points for 3-stars: 99,000

Level 22: This is a slightly tricky one. Aim so that the bird goes over both the structures. When the bird is behind both the structures, tap on the screen to redirect the bird backwards to take out both towers.

Required points for 3-stars: 56,000

Level 23: This is even trickier. It is best to use all three birds to get the pigs. Aim the first bird so it passes the first structure. Then redirect it so it takes out the tower AND explodes the TNT box. Next, shoot the second bird backwards and allow it to pass the bottom tower. As it passes, redirect it to hit the TNT box next to that tower. Eventually, use the last bird to directly hit the only remaining pig.

Required points for 3-stars: 88,000

Level 24: Shoot the bomb bird below the planet to hit the furthermost tower. Let it explode on its own for most damage. This should take out the other two neighboring structures and the pigs inside them. Next, use the Zzt bird to take out the lone pig.

Required points for 3-stars: 56,000

Level 25: Aim right in between the UFO-like structure and the closest planetoid’s gravitational field and shoot. Release the birds just before it touches the UFO structure to take out all the pigs.

Required points for 3-stars: 38,000

Level 26: Aim directly at the closest top pig and release. This should either take out most of the pigs. If any pigs remain and one of the TNT boxes is still intact, attempt to detonate it to take out all the pigs with the second bird.

Required points for 3-stars: 54,000

Level 27: This is a very tricky level. Aim the bird at a 90 degree angle, and release the birds just when they are above the top-most glass structures of the tallest tower. If you’re lucky, this will explode the TNT box when it hits the surface of the planetoid, which will in-turn detonate the other TNT box and take out all the pigs. Keep your fingers crossed the whole time.

Required points for 3-stars: 60,000

Level 28: This is another tricky level. Aim far and below and release the birds at shortly after. They should revolve around the tiny planetoid and take out chunks of the spiral structure surrounding it bit by bit. Be patient and wait till the bird(s) dissipates. Hopefully it should be adequate enough to shrink and destroy the crush the pigs.

Required points for 3-stars: 35,000

Level 29: This level is easier than it looks. Aim and release the first bird and direct it to the bottom right TNT. This should destroy a good bit. Next, aim and release the second bird and direct it at the right most center TNT. That should be enough to take out all the pigs.

Required points for 3-stars: 84,000

Level 30: Pretty easy for a boss actually. When he releases those bubbles, aim for the ones that contain rocks to make them fall on the pig vehicle.

Repeat that until he is finished. At times you will get a chance to aim directly at the pig himself – make sure to avail it.
