Gearbox Reveals Borderlands 2 PC-Exclusive Features

Gearbox Software’s Borderlands was generally well-received by critics and fans alike, but there is one demographic that complained louder than the others – and that’s the PC platform.

It seems Gearbox heard the fans’ concerns for Borderlands 2 and now they revealed a few details regarding what’s in store for the changes they’ve made for the PC. Keep in mind that this is for PC only, so consoles players, read them and weep.

  • Native multiplayer matchmaking
  • Push to talk

  • LAN support (including offline mode)

  • Integrated V-Sync option
  • Support for higher resolutions
  • Mouse smoothing options (can be disabled completely)
  • Cloud save support
  • Achievement support
  • Friends list support

Borderlands 2 will be out on September 18 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
