THQ Files 1666 Trademark

By   /   Mar 14, 2012

What is 1666? Whatever it is, THQ might be naming a game after it, as the publisher has filed a trademark for it on February 2. THQ has filed an application for the USPTO (United States Patent & Trademark Office) for “1666” and cited its use as  “video game software,” among other gaming-related endeavors.

Other than the name, no other information was revealed. The sleuths over at GameSpot state that if you reference 1666 by year, then it coincides with the Great Fire of London…could this filing be somehow connected or is this just a coincidence?

THQ has not responded for inquiries regarding the trademark as of press time, expect more details when it arises.
