Fable: Heroes for XBLA Announced, Even has a Trailer

Microsoft has officially unveiled Fable: Heroes today after the game was shown during the company’s Xbox Spring Showcase which was held in San Francisco last week.

The game, which will be in in a different art style from the Fable franchise, will be a hack-and-slash affair and its campaign can be completed cooperatively. Additionally, the game won’t feature the standard two player co-op, but instead, will let four players play simultaneously via local or online.

Furthermore, the game will even interact with Lionhead’s upcoming Kinect-enabled Fable: The Journey. Collecting coins in Heroes will  help the leveling process in Journey and it will even unlock rewards for it.

Fable: Heroes is being made by Lionhead Studios but it still doesn’t have a solid release date or price.

What do you think of the trailer? It kind of reminds me of LittleBigPlanet and Castle Crashers to be honest.
