Assassin’s Creed 3 Images Leaked Along with the Game’s Setting

By   /   Mar 1, 2012

In news that really shouldn’t shock anyone anymore, it looks like another game announcement was leaked ahead of its official reveal…and this time, it seems that the source came from one of Best Buy’s workers. The anonymous employee just sent two images that were purportedly snapped from their employee news section.

The leaked images reveal a few things of their own. One of the images reveal that Ubisoft is planning on officially unveiling Assassin’s Creed 3 this March 5 – or should we say “was” at this point?

The other image seems to show us who will be the protagonist in the series’ official third entry.

As if this wasn’t enough, now Game Informer seems to have revealed an image well ahead of time, too. The image shows a man dressed in the familiar Assassin’s Creed garb doing battle alongside George Washington with an American flag hovering behind them.

This all but confirms that Assassin’s Creed 3 will be set during the American revolution. Note that all of these are still rumors until confirmed by Ubisoft, but chances are, they are the real deal. In any case, it’s not long now as we’re mere days away from Ubisoft’s big Assassin’s Creed 3 reveal that will take place on March 5.
