Black Ops 2 Looks Likely To Happen This Year

By   /   Feb 18, 2012

It’s a phenomenon these days, the release of a Call of Duty game. If you are wondering which Call of Duty title will be outed this year, Gameblog claims it will be ‘Black Ops’, citing an Amazon France listing which has since been taken down.

Amazon listings are hardly accurate, but they have always led to accurate announcements. Even if we are not that optimistic about Amazon referring to Black Ops 2, Joystiq has unearthed a résumé of an employee at Nerve Software that lists ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 2’ as a project now in development.

Nerve Software is not new to this contractual relationship with Activision. Same studio provided art for the original Call of Duty: Black Ops and James Bond movie tie-in ‘Quantum of Solace’, both games coincidentally developed by Treyarch.

We would definitely see another Call of Duty game released in November; it has already been confirmed by Activision last year. The only question left is, which Call of Duty game? And that most probably be Black Ops 2.

Well, It’s my guess anyway. What’s your guess? Which Call of Duty game would you be playing during Christmas Holidays?
