Mass Effect 3 will be out in just a couple of weeks and fans are already wondering what will happen to the game once it’s shipped- it being Shepard’s final journey and all. Well, worry no further, as BioWare has confirmed that they have a really good plan for the game in regards to DLC.
Mass Effect executive producer Casey Hudson alleviated any concerns people might have in an interview with CVG. In it, he states, “We are going to be supporting Mass Effect 3 for quite some time, because I think people are going to have a lot of fun with multiplayer, and we’ll be supporting that with new content as we go forward”
He also compared it to how they handled ME2’s DLC plan and stressed it’s going to be just as good.
We also have a really good DLC plan, like we had for2 Mass Effect 2, so there will be new adventures and new things to do. Then, beyond that, we’ll just have to wait and see
There you have it. As someone who played through all of ME2’s DLC, I must say, I’m quite happy to hear this – not that there was going to be any doubt about it – seeing as this is a defining game in the franchise and they can’t say goodbye to Shepard without giving him a proper sendoff, can they?
Mass Effect 3 will be available this coming March 6 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
