Twisted Metal Guide – Characters, Vehicles and Factions

Twisted Metal
In the previous versions of Twisted Metal series, there were a variety of characters to choose from but this time, the game offers relatively fewer characters.

These characters however can be used with different vehicles included in the game. Each vehicle varies in attributes like Turbo Duration, AA Duration and Sacrificing Speed(nuke) etc.

Twisted Metal Characters

The Brothers Grimm
You will have a face-off with them as a boss fight during Sweet Tooth’s (the most famous vehicle featured in twisted metal series) single player campaign.

They ride two monster trucks separately which can be annoying as they won’t give too much of a breathing space. Mr. Grimm (as in previous) Twisted metal games is one of the two brothers of destruction.

Calypso
He is the man behind the scene. The one who arranges the Twisted Metal competition every time. Players participate in the virtual tournament and the winner will have his/her wish granted.

Dollface
Dollface, once a beautiful super-model, now a deadly racer. Her face is covered with the mask to hide the injuries and she wants to win the tournament to have what her heart desires the most.

She first made her appearance in Twisted Metal: Black.

Mr. Grimm
He is one of the two notorious Grimm Brothers. Individually, he rides a motorbike and wears a skeleton mask. After the death of his brother, he decided to fabricate the fate for himself.

Preacher
This strange dude has totally different perspective towards Calyspo. He believes that the leader and his industry is nothing more than a sinful entity deriving force from the evil beasts.

Twisted Metal Factions

You can choose one among the four available factions in the game and each faction can use every vehicle so one character is not essentially associated with one faction only.

Following four factions have been included in the upcoming Twisted Metal game:

  • The Clowns – Sweet Tooth’s faction.
  • The Dolls – Dollface’s faction.
  • The Skulls – Mr Grimm’s faction.
  • The Holy Men – Preacher’s faction.

Twisted Metal Vehicles

There is no vehicle restriction this time and every character can drive any vehicle. Twisted Metal has a mix of new and old vehicles you can choose from.

Following are options you have when it comes to the choice of vehicle you want to use to win the Twisted Metal tournament:

Axel
It’s unlockable vehicle in the game. Those who pre-ordered the game will get it 30 days early. Most probably, it will the part of the DLC for the game.
Stats:

  • Speed – 4/5

Crimson Fury
With Flamethrower and Incendiary shockwave installed, the sports car like vehicle can be a good tool for destruction.
Stats:

  • Speed – 5/5

  • Total – 9/15

Darkside
With the Ram as the special weapon, you won’t regret using this big truck resembling vehicle.
