The invite states that people should “save the date” this coming March 6 for the grand premier. Not coincidentally, this is also the week that the Game Developers Conference (GDC) will be happening – it’s almost a lock that the game will make an appearance at the event somewhat.
It’s really not surprising that the game is getting a sequel. The first game did sell over five millions globally and the game itself was decent enough but marred by bugs and lackluster post-launch support.
What I’m wondering about is who will make MoH2’s multiplayer this time around. For the first game, single-player duties was handled by Danger Close; and the game’s multiplayer was handled by the Battlefield guys over at DICE.
In any case, we won’t have to wait long. Mark March 6 on your calendars, shooter fans.
