Prototype 2 Delayed On PC, Consoles To Get RADNET Edition
Prototype 2 has been delayed on PC and that shouldn’t be a surprise. Radical Entertainment has announced that PC version of Prototype 2 won’t be released along with the consoles. The announcement was made on game’s official Facebook page which must have made some PC fans furious:
Hey all, we just wanted to let you know that the PC version of PROTOTYPE 2 is unfortunately going to be delayed until July 24th. Radical Entertainment has always been extremely dedicated to all our fans, and we just wanted to make sure you heard the news from us FIRST. We’ll share more details with you soon
Bad news for PC gamers but in the meanwhile, Activision has something exciting for the console fans who will pre-order the limited edition of the game i.e. if you buy the game before the release, you can entitle yourself for the “RADNET” edition of the game.
The special edition will have additional content like avatar items, challenges, in-game events, bonus mutations and behind-the-scenes videos. The content will be retrievable through a one-time only code.
Those who will complete all the RADNET challenges will get “the ultimate reward” which will be revealed in March 2012. The game is set to release for PS3 and Xbox 360 on April 24.
