By   /   Jan 3, 2012

The release of the PlayStation Vita is closer than ever, and fans can’t wait for February (the release month) to come.

If you plan on picking one up, you already have to add the cost of a game and a memory card to the original $249 price. Till now, those looking to buy the 3G version have been kept in the dark as far as the costs of the services are concerned.

But we gamers don’t like that dark, shady and ignorant place, do we. That’s why GameZone decided to confront AT&T for the details, and surprisingly, they got them first-hand.

According to GameZone, the prices are as follows:

  • 250MB of data – $14.99 per month
  • 2GB of data – $25 per month

If you are a current AT&T user, you might recognize these prices; they are the same plans offered for other devices with 3G support.

Now, we just need to figure out a way of time-traveling till mid of February.
