After Trine got a descent response, Frozenbyte first announced Trine 2 back in 2010 at E3. The game was scheduled for spring release this year but due to some unforeseen circumstances, it got delayed twice. It has now been confirmed that the game will be released on all the platforms this month.
The game will be available first on Steam on December 7 and then on PSN on December 20 in North America. Xbox 360 fans will be able to get their hands on it following release on PSN.
Although there is no confirmed date yet for PSN users in Europe, Frozenbyte believes that they won’t have to wait longer.
Trine 2 adopts the same 2D physic based puzzle platform with some improvements like the online co-op and more attributes to the characters. If you liked it’s predecessor, Trine 2 can be a better experience for you.
