Bethesda QA Tester Beats Skyrim In Just Over 2 Hours
When we think of Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls series, we expect hours of addictive gameplay in a diverse environment where complete exploration seems to be an endless task. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is no different as on average, it’s about 60+ hours of gameplay. But when it comes to “speedrun”, some people can shrink those hours into an unimaginably short time.
In the traditional internal Speedrun contest held for Skyrim – Sam Bernstein, one of the QA testers beat the game in just over 2 hours time (2 hours 16 minutes and 10 seconds to be precise). Yes, you read it right and that’s how speedruns work. It’s still a long game though as for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, the time was round about an hour.
According to the post on Bethesda’s official blog, development team’s Jeff Browne was the other strong contender to win the race but due to some issues, he fell short by mere 20 second and Mr. Browne came out to be the king.
But if you plan to enjoy the game to full extent then you obviously have plenty of hours of engaging adventure. You won’t have to wait longer as the game is set to release on November 11 which is less than a month away from now.
