The PS Vita will be available in the west sometime before March next year, and Sony is really tempting everyone into buying this next-generation hand-held device by releasing captivating information regularly.
Speaking at a GDC Online session, Chris Norden, Sony senior staff developer support engineer, confirmed that the platform’s launch games will be available by both the conventional method as well as through PSN download.
The 3G model, like phones, will have a download cap of 20MB, so for downloading the relatively large games, the best bet would be using a WiFi connection.
Norden also revealed that developers are allowed to create free-to-play titles for the Vita if they wish to, and this option is available for exploration.
