PC classic tactical strategy game turned First Person Shooter ‘Syndicate’ is coming to all major platforms sooner than expected. Syndicate has been in development for more than 2 years and yesterday, EA broke the news that FPS reboot of Syndicate will launch on February 21, 2012.

EA Partners producer Jeff Gamon and Starbreeze Studios (The studio developing Syndicate, famous for Chronicles of Riddick) CEO Mikael Nermark took the stage to talk about Syndicate. The highlights were the sooner than expected release date that the story of the game that is written by British sci-fi author Richard Morgan, who is famous for The Tekeshi Kovacs series.

Syndicate is set in the year 2069, a time of great competition where mega corporations battle for control of the World. You are Miles Kilo, a prototype agent for Eurocorp and your goal ? help company gain control of the lucrative American market. Syndicate will ship for PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 at the same time on February 21st, 2012.
