Star Wars: The Old Republic is one MMO-RPG that may have eluded declaring a release date, but it has given us the liberty to form guilds for a while. Now, a new interesting feature is being added to the multiplayer game, which is also being termed as the ‘Phase 2: Alignment’ stage.
To put it simply, each guild will now be able to ally or declare hostility towards up to 3 other guilds. Bioware wrote on The Old Republic site:
“With Phase 2: Alignment, we are introducing new features which allow guilds to set their allegiance with other guilds in The Old Republic. Now a guild leader, along with members who have the proper permissions, can select up to three guilds as either Allies or Adversaries, depending on their faction affiliation. Qualifying guilds that are marked as Allies and Adversaries of other guilds will have the highest chance of being placed in the game together, allowing these guilds to coexist on the same server.”
There is also another feature being implemented in this so-called ‘Phase 2’, which is the ability of the guild leaders and its senior members to invite friends to join their guilds through email, so recreating just became an easy and quick process.
Time to start distributing your hatred and respect for other guilds the way it should be!
