Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One – Single Player Experience

Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One might be a game that primarily focuses on co-op play, but that doesn’t mean it prevents an individual from having a great, fun and humorous solo experience.

Insomniac Games has been working hard on making R&C:A4O a game that offers engaging and addictive entertainment to both those who have a good few fellow gamers and those who wish to take on the adventures by themselves.

The single player experience of the game is a simplified version of the co-op mode, utilizing AI bots as substitutes for real-life partners. If you play the game alone as Ratchet, Qwark or Nefarious, you’ll be accompanied by an AI controlled Clank.

Clank will ride on your back under normal circumstances, but when you reach enemies or places where teamwork is required; he’ll jump off and help you out full-time. The interesting twist comes when you decide to play alone as Clank. In that case, other characters will ride Clank’s back and help him out when required.

Yes, it’s weird, but it’s a feature that elaborates the personality and feel of them game – fun, humorous, light-hearted and versatile. Have a look at the single-player experience yourself by watching the all-new single-player trailer:
