Multiple Playable Demos of PES 2012 Announced
We’re quite used to observing the release of playable demos of games just before their launch, but barely do we ever see TWO playable demos coming out for a soon-to-be-released game. Well, everyone’ll be surprised to know that not one but two playable demos of PES 2012 will be released before the release of the highly anticipated game.
That’s right; Konami announced that two playable demos will be available for free for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. The demos will allow PES fans to have a look at the game both in its early stage of development and just prior to its release.
The first of the two demos will be available from August 24th and will be based on the preview build of the game. There might be some issues in the demo that Konami will work on later on, but the main objective of releasing such a premature demo is for players to try out the new Teammate Control elements prior to the release, and allow them to experience the Active AI system and its impact on realism in the game.
The demo will feature six teams – Manchester United, AC Milan, FC Porto, S.S.C Napoli, Santos FC, and C.A. Panarol – and the matches will be of 10 minutes. The main objective of this is to allow players to experience the individuality embedded within every team, and become aware of how every team feels and behaves differently from the others. The demo will also feature Challenge Training elements, where fans can practice the new control systems of the game.
PES 2012 will be released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on October 14th. For PlayStation 2 and PSP it will be released on Oct 28th, whereas for the Wii on Nov 4th.
