EA Sports Announces FIFA Street Reboot At GamesCom

FIFA Street, the arcade-styled spin-off of Electronic Art’s infamous FIFA series, is getting another addition in its tally of street-styled soccer games. EA announced this news at the GamesCom press conference in Germany. It was also confirmed that the game will come out next year. Although no true footage or gameplay was shown, EA Sports said that the game would contain all the different flavors of football that have been created by countries throughout the world.

FIFA Street games, unlike the primary FIFA series, focus on flair, style and trickery rather than tactics and team play, reflecting the cultural soccer played in your everyday streets. The new FIFA Street game will also have such gameplay elements, like street-quick touch dribbling and off-the-wall moves. The game will also feature EA Season Ticket and shall be a part of EA’s Football Club.

Three games have been released so far in the series, and this will be the fourth one.
