Sucker Punch, the developer behind inFamous 2 and Sly Copper is now part of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios. Sony bought the studios after enjoying more than a decade of official dealings. SCE WorldWide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida said:

Sucker Punch Productions is one of the most highly acclaimed development studios in the industry and we have enjoyed a wonderful relationship with the company for over 12 years. We are delighted to officially welcome them to the SCE family.

Previously, Sucker Punch Studios had hinted to make another exclusive title for PS3. Now since they are part of the structure, we can expect inFamous 3 in the line up. According to Sucker Punch co-founder Bruce Oberg:

We’ll see where we want to go next. We have a great relationship with them. We love the PlayStation platform. I’m not lying when I tell you it’s a really killer technological platform for us to work on.

Whatever he says, you know they will continue inFamous franchise after the success they had with inFamous 2. What are your thoughts; should they continue or come up with a new unique game ?
