Flying Wild Hog, a relatively new game developing company with experienced members, has recently announced the release of their game ‘Hard Reset’. It’s quite odd for a company to announce a game just three months before its release, as the game is coming out in September exclusively for the PC.
As far as Flying Wild Hog is concerned, it’s a new company formed by members of CD Projekt RED (The Witcher 2), People Can Fly (Painkiller) and City Interactive (Sniper: Ghost Warrior). They’ve even produced an entire new engine from scratch, called ‘Road Hog’, which indicates more future games from this developer.
So what is Hard Reset exactly about? Well, it’s a singleplayer game that tells the story of a dystopian future of earth, in which humanity is on the verge of extinction, and only one city, called Bezoar, is the bastion for man-kind against an invading, conquering horde of robots. You, a man known as Major Fletcher, are dragged into a conflict that is nothing like what it seems, and must survive and fight to preserve the future of mankind.
Strangely enough, the above bit of information is all that is known about the game so far. It isn’t much for a game that is to be released after 3 months only, but we’re hoping for more trailers and more press releases about the game in a short while.
