For those who always wondered what exactly the two PSP God of War games, namely God of War: Ghost of Sparta and God of War: Chains of Olympus were about, they will soon have an answer if only they have a Playstation 3 at their disposal.
The two PSP God Of War games are coming to PlayStation 3 – in full HD and 3D compatibility. While it may not be big news for those who only considered the PSP versions as ‘average spin-offs’, let me tell you that they were very, very good games that did not do injustice to the commendable original series – and perhaps this move is taking place because developers want players to become more aware about these games or may be it’s just business.
God of War: Chains of Olympus is a prequel to the original God of War, and tells the story of the period during which Kratos served the gods of Olympus. God of War: Ghost of Sparta is a interquel that takes place between the first and second game. As the god of war, Kratos sets to investigate his past and reunite with his brother, Deimos.
These games will run at 720p with 60 FPS and will have full 3D compatibility. Moreover, the controls will be reworked and revamped to make best use of a hand-held controller. The collection will be released on September 13th of this year.
