Nintendo 3DS started things off well breaking all the previous records to become the fastest selling console in Nintendo’s history. A recent report shows that much awaited “The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time” has been purchased by 20 percent of the 3DS userbase in UK.
That is only for the first two days. Quite a descent amount which can actually set this console for bigger and better titles on this handheld. David Yarnton (UK boss of Nintendo) in a discussion with MCV told:
We generally find that summer time is a good time for handheld gaming and we have lots of sampling and summertime events to get more people hands on with it – that leads us nicely up to all that great content coming out
I am expecting the same response for the big upcoming titles like Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid, and Super Mario on Nintendo 3DS. What do you think, it’s the lack of good games that is driving the sales of this classic, or it’s just too good a game to miss ?
