When I first heard Impact Engine would be console specific feature, I wasn’t really impressed with EA, and It wasn’t the first time that had happened. There has been a long history of sub-par FIFA games on PC when compared to consoles.
I know, I know, I should be playing it with a controller, but I like my keyboard better. EA, much to my surprise revealed today that PC version of the game will be identical to consoles; with all the gameplay features and modes powered by Impact Engine.
Surprise aside, let’s talk about the known issues with recent PC versions in the series. We know a lot of guys on PC had issues customizing FIFA 11 controls. But this time, the experience would be smooth with the new user friendly in-game control settings and tools for PC version of FIFA 12 game.
We don’t know what EA meant by Tools but hopefully it would be something good. On a side note, you will also be able to play the game in Windowed Mode. Plus, FIFA 11 on PC will be available with exclusive content from Origin, EA’s new digital download service.
You can connect with your friends and use other social features of the service integrated into the game. The details of how this work are scarce but again, you can expect good things.
