Top 5 Games of E3 2011
The biggest gaming event of the year came like a storm with some thrilling announcements as well as a few disappointments along with it. There were many sequels as well as some new titles announced and displayed at E3 2011.
The event was big enough to make a $25 million revenue for Los Angeles and almost 47 thousand attendees across the globe were there to cherish this most glamoring event in the gaming industry.
What were top 5 games displayed at E3? Well, since there were a lot of good games, it’s a tough choice and the opinion of course can vary from person to person. Here are our top 5 games of E3 2011.
1. Battlefield 3
Frostbite 2 Engine is ready sparkle its magic in Battlefield 3. We already had glimpses of singleplayer campaign but the multiplayer demo at E3 showed why EA and DICE officials are so excited about the game.
2. Tomb Raider
She is younger, sexier, and all set to make a huge fan base once the game is released. The demo displayed at E3 showed that the new lady is vulnerable and scared like a kid at first day of the school.
I am quite confident that the big change in the franchise will be worthy and it won’t disappoint the fans considering the true essence of long running Tomb Raider series has been retained.
3. Bioshock Infinite
If you have been following the Bioshock series, you must be craving to play Bioshock Infinite. There has been some changes like it’s not the mutated forms you will be fighting but for a conflict between factions and civil war. Bioshock Infinite’s E3 demo was promising to say the least, easily one of the best games on show.
4. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Bathesda know the need of RPG lovers and this time, Skyrim won’t be any less addictive. The short demo at E3 showed how stunning the presentation is and the gameplay matched the presentation equally. The game has got the potential to be a strong contender for the game of the year.
5. Hitman Absolution
Agent 47 is back, but this time, the mission is personal. IO Interactive demonstrated the new Hitman game retaining everything we love about the game, with added new features, to make the game rather easier to attract new fans. One of the features I didn’t like was sixth sense, which lets you see through walls but still, it was one of the best games on the show, so deservedly gets fifth place.
