Alice Madness Returns Radula Rooms Locations Guide

There are 16 Radula Rooms you need to complete, if you want to earn Painting the Town Red achievement or trophy in Alice Madness Returns. If you somehow can’t find these Radula Rooms, you can use our guide to find and successfully complete these Radula Rooms.

Chapter 2 – Tundraful

Radula Room #1

Type: Quiz Radula

Location. Inside the weak ice, you will spot a yellow shell. This is your first Radula Room, and here, Cheshire Cat will ask you few questions with multiple choices.

Task: To complete it successfully, you need to answer one question correctly.

Quiz Questions

The following are all the questions and their right answers.

Q1: How is the Queen of Hearts like a typhoon?

A1: In all ways – but the typhoon doesn’t mean to be.

Q2: What is yours but others use it more than you do?

A2: Your name.

Q3: King’s cloak, priests hassock, lady’s wrap, judges robe all hand by me. Who am I?

A3: Clothes lines.

Q4: What’s on four legs in the morning, two legs at noon and on three legs in the evening?

A4: A human being.

Chapter 2 – BarrelBottom

Radula Room #2

Type: Survival Radula

Location. You will need to break the coral to the right of the statue. This will reveal a new path leading to the a yellow shell. There, is the Radula Room in the center of that area.

Task: This is a Survival Radula and you have to survive for a fixed amount of time with enemies in the room. The enemies are shield madcaps.

A tip is to keep running around in circle to kill the time and complete the trial.

Chapter 2 – Choral Coral

Radula Room #3

Type: Mini-game Radula

Location. Run up the hill after you help out the bottle fish. Take a right and destroy the coral to find a clam with teeth. To its right is another breakable coral. Destroy the coral again on the right and climb up the invisible platforms to enter this Radula Room. Inside you will be asked to play the pirate-ship mini game.

Task: While you play the pirate-ship mini game, in it you have to sail the HMS Gryphon through the Cannon Crabs, Shipwreck Sharks and the bombs safely to the end.

Chapter 2 – BarrelBottom Revisited

Radula Room #4

Type: Battle Radula

Location. Destroy the colossal ruin you encounter and follow the path. Use shrink to spot a tunnel on the right and take the invisible platforms. You will spot another Radula room with Kill or be Killed trial in which you have to defeat Menacing Ruins and Eyepots.

Task: This room is a trial of battle. You either Kill or be Killed to pass or fail the task.

Chapter 3 – Vale of Doom

Radula Room #5

Type: Quiz Radula

Location. Jump up the elevator and to the next level. Go left, destroy the ruin and use the tunnel. Cross the stone and invisible platforms leading you to the yellow shell, Radula Room.

Task: Cheshire Cat will ask you questions, you need to get one right. Completing this trial successfully will get your Paint Jar.

Chapter 3 – Scroll of Happy Time

Radula Room #6

Type: Battle Radula

Location. After you defeat the Samurai Warrior Ink Wasp, follow the path and take left into the Radula Room Shell.

Task: You will have to pass Kill or be killed trial. Your enemies will be bolterflies and madcaps.

Chapter 3 – Trunk

Radula Room #7

Type: Survival Radula

Location. Cross the vents and enter a green cave. You should spot rotating heads that breath fire, avoid them and follow the path to the honeycomb wall. Destroy it and pull the chain inside. Jump the gap to use the tunnel.

Task: You will enter the Radula Shell and trigger the trial ‘Can you survive the Passage of Time?’. Survive the time limit against crabs and madhats to successfully complete the trial.

Chapter 3 – West Peak Prison Village

Radula Room #8

Type: Mini-game Radula

Location. On the path that frogs opened, destroy the honeycomb wall ‘Not the left one’ and follow the wall to the right until you reach few teeth. Use the tunnel beside them, destroy the weak wall leading to the Radula Room.

Task: You will need to finish Scroll of Destiny mini game just by getting to the end of the 2D scroll. Reward again will be Paint Jar.

Chapter 4 – Least Wing

Radula Room #9

Type: Quiz Radula

Location. From the stone platform, go up to the door but don’t enter. Look right instead and break the weak wall. Use the mushroom to enter the shell.

Task: Cheshire cat will ask you question, get one right and you will be rewarded with the Paint Jar.

Q1: What comes next in the sequence 1 ,3 ,4 ,7 ,11?

A1: 18.

Q2: What always runs but never walk, often murmurs but never talks, has a bed but never sleeps, has a mouth but never eats?

A2: A river.

Q3: I never was, am always to be. No one ever saw me, nor ever will. What am I?

A3: The future.

Q4: At night they come without being fetched. By day they are lost without being stolen. What are they?

A4: Stars.

Chapter 4 – Waste Wing Part 1

Radula Room #10

Type: Battle Radula

Location. Pull the level on the jump platforms. Go to the last landing and use the vents on the right to enter the shell.

Task: You will be given Kill or be killed trial once you enter the room. Enemies are wasp archers, samurai wasps, and an eyepot. You will be rewarded with Paint Jar once you defeat all the enemies.

Chapter 4 – Waste Wing Part 2

Radula Room #11

Type: Survival Radula

Location. Follow the path, where the train passes you by. Look through the vents on the left. The Radula will be easily visible to enter the shell.

Task: You have to survive for some time against Damiyo Wasp and Drowned Sailor. Survive the passage of time trial, simple run around the outer edge to evade enemies and complete the trial. You will be rewarded with Paint Jar once you complete it.

Chapter 4 – Dark of Heartness

Radula Room #12

Type: Special Radula

Location. Take the tongue slide to the end. Spot the tunnel on the left side of the room. This tunnel leads you to the Radula Room so follow it to the end.

Task: Weaken the walls, defeat the enemies, and destroy the cannon tower in Alice’s giant form to complete the room.

Chapter 5 – Frog’s Way

Radula Room #13

Type: Quiz Radula

Location. Get into the green house, and use the mushroom. At the top, turn around to get a memory opposite of the flower. Stand on the red colored boards and look right. You should see a giant baby face. Drop through the green door on your right when facing giant baby face. Destroy the weak floor. Drop again and use the mushroom to reach the upper level in the house. Take a right into the room. Go out the back into the shell beside bookcase.

Task: Cheshire Cat will ask you few questions, get one right, and you will be rewarded with Paint Jar.

Chapter 5 – Dolltown Cellar

Radula Room #14

Type: Battle Radula

Location. Destroy the ruin and use the tunnel. When it splits, take right path leading to the shell.

Task: Kill or be Killed trial, lots of card guards and ice sharks to beat. Once you have defeated them, you will be rewarded with Paint Jar.

Chapter 5 – Fort Resistance Delivered

Radula Room #15

Type: Survival Radula

Location. Follow the path across the platforms leading to a wooden landing with a pressure pad. Locate the invisible platform and cross them into the shell.

Task: You will be greeted with a trial ‘Can you survive the passage of time?’. Your enemies will be damiyo wasp, Executioner and samurai ink wasp. Evade your enemies and you will be rewarded with the Paint Jar.

Chapter 5 – Looking Glass Railway Station

Radula Room #16

Type: Mini-game Radula

Location. Take the right past the doll station, and cross over invisible platforms to enter the shell.

Task: The task is to complete the “Off with her head” mini-game. You will need to complete doll head rolling mini-game and you will be rewarded the final Paint Jar.
