SoftKinetic Announces iisu 2.8 – Technology Behind Kinect Now Available For Free

Today SoftKinectic announced the release of iisu 2.8 with full multi-camera compatibility, and a non commercial version of the gesture recognition middleware for free to qualified developers.

If you have know idea what I am talking about then read on the introduction to iisu.

iisu is most advanced real-time 3D gesture recognition software platform, that can capture full 3D motion via motion sensing camera.
The technology so far has been incorporated into large-scale applications for gaming, multimedia systems, and personal training.

SoftKinetic’s chief strategy officer Eric Krzeslo said:
