Civilization V Gets Two New DLC’s

2K has announced two new DLC packs for Civilization V which introduces a new multiplayer map pack and a new civilization.

The Civilization and Scenario Pack: Polynesia pack, introduces the Polynesian Civilization as well as as a new scenario Paradise Found, where players will get to play as “one of the four great Polynesian kingdoms as they strive to become the dominant culture in Polynesia.” New technology and social policy trees will also unlock “powerful advantages to players,” including the Maori Warrior and the Moai.

2K has also announced a free map pack for Civilization V, which will be available to download when connected to Steam. The content includes three maps: Skirmish, Ring and Ancient Lake.

The complete DLC will be available this Thursday, March 3 2011 on Steam.
