M4 Revolver

Killzone 3 - M4 REVOLVER
Faction: ISA
Class: Side Arms
Sights: Iron Sights
The standard side arm for ISA soldiers, the M4 is a slow but powerful fallback weapon in case the primary weapon runs out of ammunition. Small ammo and slower reload offsets are compensated with high damage of this pistol. Fire rate is slower though, so it will depend on your play style whether you should go for this as a back up or StA18.

StA-18 Pistol

The Helghast counterpart of the M4, the StA-18 sacrifices some power and accuracy for a higher rate of fire. If you are going for any weapon that you can have hard time with in short range then you should definitely unlock this pistol. You can effectively use it as a back up weapon and it can inflict damage if you are quick enough at draw.

M66 Machine Pistol

The preferred sidearm of ISA Shadow Marshals, the M66 has a very high rate of fire but not much accuracy unless fired from a crouched position. Suppressed fire makes it an effective partner of any weapon you use. It has high fire rate, low ammo count but still you can get the best out of this weapon especially when used while cloaked as it doesn’t disable your stealth.

VC8 Shotgun Pistol

The VC8 offers good stopping power at short range, but quickly becomes less accurate over larger distances. Though has a shotgun in name but it requires multiple shots to kill an enemy and it can be very frustrating at times especially when you are relying on it as a back up weapon. Add to that the long reload time which makes it a bad choice altogether.

StA-2 Battle Pistol

The VC8 offers good stopping power at short range, but quickly becomes less accurate over larger distances. You can be slick with this weapon and use it for what it was meant for – campers. You can use your radar to spot an enemy and then use this weapon to unleash a grenade on him when he is least expecting.

M82 Assault Rifle

The M82 is such a solid all-round assault rifle that its basic design has hardly changed over its years of service. Its low recoil, high fire rate, good range and holographic scope make this the workhorse of the ISA.
Slow fire rate but high damage. Though it has troublesome recoil in the long range, but its manageable if you can fire in bursts – it will also increase its accuracy.

M82SE Assault Rifle (Suppressed)

The suppressed version of the M82 fires in bursts to reduce recoil even further. The added suppressor prevents the player from showing up on enemy radar. Very hard to use with silencer as your aim gets tougher but its still a powerful weapon to use.

StA-52 Assault Rifle

The StA-52 assault rifle is the mainstay of the Helghast army. Although it lacks the accuracy of its ISA counterpart, the M82, it makes up for this with a higher rate of fire and larger ammo drum size.Good for long range if you shoot in bursts. Low recoil and fully automatic nature makes it a good choice for ranged or medium combat. Reflex sight adds another dimension to it.

StA-52SE Assault Rifle (Suppressed)

The suppressed version of the StA-52 assault rifle fires in bursts to minimize recoil. Although it reduces the fire rate, the suppressor keeps the player from showing up on enemy radar when firing.

StA-14 Rifle

Fitted with a reflex sight, this powerful low-recoil rifle is the best suited for mid- to long-range engagements. While it lacks the extreme accuracy of the VC32, it has a much higher fire rate. Semi automatic gun which Marksman starts with. Close quarters are not the best suited situations when equipped with this gun so keep yourself in medium to long range combat. Headshots are instant kills with this gun, though you will have to waste more bullets when shooting any other part of the body. If you plan on to camp with this gun, make sure you stock in on bullets as it comes with small mag.

VC32 Sniper Rifle

Sights: Illuminated 2x and 5x zoom Telescopic Sight.
Two different zoom levels allow the VC32 sniper rifle to be used in mid-range and long-range combat. For optimal accuracy, the weapon should be fired from a crouched position. Should be your favorite if you opt for Marksman, regardless whatever range the enemy is, it will be one shot kill. Though, it has very slow reload time – which can get you in trouble if you get out of bullets with enemies nearby. So make sure you have a back up secondary weapon to support you in these kind of situations.

M32 Combat Knife

The M32 is the last resort of close quarters combatants. Suitable for both stabbing and slicing, it makes for a brutal melee attack.

LS13 Shotgun

Sights: Reflex Sight
The LS13 is a pump action shotgun with devastating close-range damage. It’s not very accurate, however, and loses its effectiveness at anything other than close range. You need to be up close and personal to use this gun effectively. It’s deadly in indoors, and one shot kill is guaranteed if you pick the enemy in close quarters. Though you need to be precise when aiming with this gun as its long reload time and high recoil can get you in trouble if you are not careful enough.

StA-11 Submachine Gun

The StA-11 SMG boasts low recoil and a high fire rate, and does tremendous damage at close range. It is ideally suited for ‘run & gun’ type tactics. You run faster while you have this equipped, very light gun making it ideal for situations in which you want to infiltrate into the enemy close quarters and do your objective. Good for defending the objective, you can easily defend any spot that makes enemy come in close quarters and when they does – you can easily pick them off.

StA-11SE Submachine Gun (Suppressed)

The suppressed StA-11 SMG keeps the player from showing up on enemy radar while firing. The state of the art suppression mechanism does not sacrifice fire rate or accuracy. Suppressed version of the this gun will allow you to operate under the radar as you won’t be marked on radar when firing. To get the maximum out of this gun, infiltrate the enemy bases and then pick them one by one. Patience will get you more kills. Though, make sure you go for perfect shots.

LS57 Submachine Gun

Based off the M82 design, the LS57 SMG suffers from more recoil than the StA-11, but makes up for this in range and firepower. Short range weapon with small mag. High fire rate means you will need some extra bullets or have to be economically. Though it can become handy as it has increased accuracy close range when using hip fire.

M224-1A Light Machine Gun

The M224-1A is an LMG with large magazine capacity and plenty of range. It’s an excellent suppressive weapon, but has a comparably low fire rate. You will move slowly and reload times will be very high but that offset is compensated with high damage of this weapon. You can give your enemies tough with long range shooting by firing intuitively in bursts. It has a high recoil so you may have trouble controlling it. Make sure you have some solid cover behind so you don’t have to worry about getting flanked. If you are, you are dead meat.

StA-3 Light Machine Gun

The StA-3 is an LMG with a sizeable ammo drum and a tremendous fire rate. It is unmatched in its suppressive capabilities, especially when fired from a crouched position. Very useful weapon for blasting through rooms and comes with improved mobility. Increased fire rate over M224. It also has large ammo clip so you won’t have to worry about getting out of bullets but that comes at a price of even longer reload time.

StA-62 MiniGun

Originally intended for stationary defense, the immensely powerful StA-62 can be dismounted and carried around, although the weight of the weapon slows down the operator.

VC9 Rocket Launcher

Class: Rocket Launchers
The VC9 is ideal for taking down enemy vehicles and entrenchments. Although it lacks the homing capabilities of the W.A.S.P. Launcher, it has a relatively fast reload rate. You can get the best out of this weapon by firing in corridors you know contains lot of enemies. Or you can fire in the pass through’s otherwise the traditional use of it as anti turrets and anti drones is always there.

StA-X3 W.A.S.P. Launcher

Class: Rocket Launchers
Like the StA-62, the StA-X3 can be dismounted and carried. The weapon fires a volley of homing missiles in primary fire mode, and a targeted ‘bunker buster’ strike in alternate fire mode.

M194 Fragmentation Grenade

The M194 is a standard- issue fragmentation grenade with a digitally enhanced fuse igniter. It is ideal for sweeping rooms or clearing out enemy entrenchments.

PXM199 Proximity Mine

Class: Explosives
The proximity mine tracks the proximity of enemies and explodes when one enters within a two meter radius. Unless the target is extremely well-armored, this is usually enough to neutralize any enemy.

VC116 SENTRY TURRET

The VC116 is an automated defense turret that can be deployed by Helghast Engineers. It has excellent detection range, but only average firepower and accuracy.

LS116 SENTRY TURRET

The LS116 is the ISA equivalent of the VC116 Sentry Turret. It has an equal detection range, and matches its counterpart in firepower and accuracy as well.

StA-X6 JETPACK

Class: Vehicles
The StA-X6 comes equipped with a belt-fed submachine gun based on the StA-11 design. The range of the weapon has been upgraded to allow the wearer to fire from great heights.

LS209 EXOSKELETON

LS209 Exoskeleton

Faction: ISA
Class: Vehicles
Slow and clunky but extremely well-armored, the ISA Exoskeleton is equipped with a heavy machine gun and a rocket launcher. It does have a weak spot that can affect the operator, however.
