A couple of days back Ubisoft announced that the Animus Project Update 1.0 downloadable content for Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood is available free for both the Xbox360 and PS3. The next update, Project 2.0 will arrive in the next month of January and it will also be free.
The Animus Project 1.0 brings free Multiplayer Updates including a new game mode and map. The mode is called “Advanced Alliance and it increases the challenge required to identify targets and combat. The new map is called Mont Saint-Michel and is placed on an island of Normandy in France. Like other maps, this one also features tall bell towers and multi-level buildings for you to explore. There are narrow streets available for the Stealth hunters too.
Animus Project Update 2.0 will also feature a new game mode and map for the multiplayer. The map will be called Pienza and provides a convenient environment for both predators and targets to blend in. The new mode has been named Chest Capture and will have two teams battling each other. Each team will have three players and will partner up with Templars. Each team will take turns defending and capturing the chests.
