What is a Rickrolling Worm ?
There has been several reports that jailbroken iPhone users in Australia have been fall victim to “ikee” a worm that replaces the default wall paper with a picture of Rick Ashley,  a British pop singer with a recent song “Never gonna give u up”.

Seems like this hacker is fan of Mr Rick as the photo is accompanied by a message “ikee is never gonna give u up” and apparently this worm is very hard to remove.

Rickrolling Worm “ikee” arguably is the first worm that hits iPhone says Sophos, a security firm. But in order for this worm to attack your iPhone, your iPhone must be jailbroken, so the one’s who haven’t jailbroken their iPhones are safe from it. (more…)

10,000+ Hotmail Passwords Leaked Online As Microso...

Neowin has reported recently about a possible msn ‘Hack’ when a user at Neowin site posted password details of thousand of Hotmail accounts.It came to light when an anonymous user posted hotmail acounts of several thousand MSN users at neowin ‘A site used by users to share code snippets’.
The details were promptly removed by the site admin but having seen part of the list, they confirmed that the accounts were legit and most appear to be Europe based. (more…)

AVG Reports False Positive Trojen Horse Proxy AHIY...

A lot of people have been reporting that AVG is reporting lot of files being infected by Trojen Horse ahiy or Trojan Horse Proxy ahiy. Although it can be a legitimate alarm but avg seem to report many legitimate programs as this Trojan Horse Proxy ahiy.

Like lot of people who are using google toolbar and AVG have reported that they are getting this warning that their google toolbar is infected by this Trojan Horse ahiy.

Whenever we download something, there is always a chance of it being infected and the chances increase vastly if it’s a crack/keygen/patch or any file from torrents. What if you are stuck to use an application which you know is infected but there is no other around it?.

Monolith aren’t done yet and they have something more for the F.E.A.R 2 fans all over the world.This time it’s a singleplayer DLC after their 2 mutiplayer map packs.This DLC called Reborn will feature a mini-campaign in which 4 levels are included.Players shall control Foxtrot 813, which is a replica soldier in the original game.Length of the levels is almost same as in original game.This DLC is set to be released in August on XBL and PSN.No release for PC has been confirmed yet but there are speculations that this one will also hit PC later.

Conficker C An April Fool or a Possible Nightmare ...

April 1st has always been an interesting day for all of us but who knows this time around it becomes a nightmare. Well it will be a nightmare for the whole world using internet if this silly rumour is true.

That my friend is Paper image scanned from a newspaper explaining imminent threat of Computer Worm named Conficker C which is expected to attack all the infected PC’s on April 1st and all those infected PC’s after attack will be taken over by a master Computer who will use that network to do anything he likes ? lol thats kind of weird but you can’t help it, Rumours are always like that. The Best thing about this rumor is famous security analyst have commented on this possible threat so no one is taking it as it is. Being Cautious helps it does’nt harm you be take precaustionary measures, Scan your PC and all after all you won’t like it if “it is my pc infected on that day and gets taken over by that master computer and segmentnext starts showing off some porn ?” omg dont say you will like it more come on
Concluding this so called practical joke nothing is confirmed about the possible intentions of doing all this crap. Maybe its just for making an april fool out of us?
