Lego Lord of the Rings has a total of 250 Mithril Bricks, most of them come from finishing levels but some of them can be collected in the game. The best way to search for these bricks is to grab the Mithril Brick Finder. It helps you to find the other bricks. You can either find it in the Middle-Earth or use the cheat “B72D7E” in the pause menu’s “Extras” Enter Code option.

Mithril Brick #1
Location. The right side of the inn has a fence which you need to jump on and then use a short character to crawl through the tunnels at the left. They will take you to the brick!

Mithril Brick #2
Location. Turn on the crank of the forge (Blacksmith outdoor machine area) and you’ll get your prize.

Mithril Brick #3
Location. When you have finished the Mines of Moria level, take Legolas and look for a set of blocks on which you can jump on to (in the water) Follow the next set of shooting targets, gaps and poles to cross the distance and reach to the high ledge. Destroy the box up there.

Mithril Brick #4
Location. The same area as the brick #3 has a winding path which leads to the mountains. The right fork there takes you to a round area with two wooden platforms/wire set. Use Sam to grow a plant and then another character to jump up to the plant leaves and grab the suspended wire. Climb and you’ll reach to the brick.

Mithril Brick #5
Location. There is a set of five plants next to each other in the same area, you need a character with a sword to cut these and get your reward.

Mithril Brick #6
Location. The free roam area (right after you enter, Two Towers section) Sam and Frodo will be on a mountain path, go downwards- to the bottom of the screen. Use Sam’s rope to pull the rocks on the right and grab the brick.

Mithril Brick #7
Location. The same area as the last one, the left side of the path takes you to a dark cave where Frodo has to use his light. The brick is here!

Mithril Brick #8
Location. Bree, take a ranged character (with a bow) and the street across the inn, next to the town’s exit. You will find five targets next to the fence. Jump on to the platform on the side of the fence and aim the five targets. Take them down and you will see the brick.

Mithril Brick #9
Location. You get to a graveyard after crossing the eight bricks. Dig up the three spots in front of the gravestones with Sams help. Hold B and put each of them together, you’ll get the brick now.

Mithril Brick #10
Location. There is a path which leads to the field, next to the graveyard. On the right of that field is a tree next to a cave, jump onto the tree and then to the rail. Move forward and hook up to the next rail from where you get to the vine. The second/higher vine takes you to the brick.

Mithril Brick #11
Location. Destroy the cobweb (the cracked wall) with Gimli and you’ll see the brick inside – The H of rohan on the map (fields of Rohan).

Mithril Brick #12
Location. Bree, use Legolas and shoot the three pole points next to the inn. Use the lowest to jump onto the highest and grab the brick.

Mithril Brick# 13
Location. The west of Hobbition is another Archery range situated. Legolas can be used to time and take the shots of all the targets. Hit all of them to make the brick appear.

Mithril Brick #14
Location. Rivendell, the central path which takes you to a lake/building. You need to use Gimli’s smash on the left side to raise two columns. Follow the path upward and use Legolas to shoot the targets and then the new jumps created. Destroy the box.

Mithril Brick #15
Location. Center of Edoras – The front of the main building by the map stone. Use Legolas to shoot the pole targets and then jump onto it so you can move towards the brick.

Mithril Brick #16
Location. O and H of Rohan of the world map – The hill which has a grayed out brick, next to five piles of heads. Use Gimli to destroy all of them with around six seconds of each other.

At level 5, the players roaming around in Tyria will automatically start to generate skill points. These skill points are basically your currency and to have most of the skills under your belt; you will have to collect most of these points. In Guild Wars 2, apart from getting the automated points, you can do several skill challenges, which are found in each of an explorable zone.

Completing each one of these skill challenges will get you an extra point. The number of skill challenges in a zone is always shown on the loading screen (when you enter that zone).

The Wayfarer Foothills is the starting zone of the norn characters; it has a total of eight skill challenges – You can also see these challenges on your map; the completed, and the uncompleted ones have separate markers.

Note: The best way to complete the tough challenges is to get your friends along with you!

For more help on Guild Wars 2, read our Kessex Hills Skill Challenges Guide.

Challenge #1 – Hostra’s Refuge
The first challenge of Wayfarer Foothills is at Hostra’s Refuge. You will have to swim underwater, fight a couple of alpine skelks and then get to the challenge’s location.
The challenge is to fight Bear Shaman Marga, it’s not difficult. Just make use of your traps and useful abilities before you trigger the fight.

Challenge #2 – Hangrammr Climb
Located at Hangrammer Climb, the 2nd challenge is to commune with Isosormir’s Body – remains of the giant wurm. It is represented by a pillar of light!

Challenge #3 – Hermit’s Watch
Hermit’s Watch is located in Darkriven Bluffs, Wayfarer Foothills. A camp of “the Sons of Svanir” will be on your route but the main skill challenge is fighting Blane the Insane.
Blane is pretty easy, just stay out of the red circle (AoE) as you will get hit by shards of ice. Talk to Blane after defeating him and the point is yours.

Challenge #4 – The Shadowhorns
Shadow Horns, fight Burission the Blue.
The fight will start with a spinning attack from Burrisson, he’ll do this a couple of times again and you will have to dodge it and beat him then.

Challenge #5 – Hunter’s Lake
It is located at Hunter’s Lake, you need to go to an ice cave and then underground. There are numerous ice wurm hatchligns on your way, and this is probably the most difficult challenge of the area. You need to heal and act fast.
Interact with the Aging Ale Barrels at the bottom of the cave to get one, and then use it to get the skill point.

Challenge #6 – The Frozen Maw
This challenge is situated at the eastern side of the Hunter’s Lake, Frozen Maw. You need to interact with a corrupted spike and then fight the spawned enemies.
The bad part is that there are many more enemies in the battle’s area, you must clear these enemies before triggering your challenge or it will be very difficult to fight everybody. The challenge itself has an elder icebrood troll and a couple of minions. Although, it’s not that hard if others are not interfering.

Challenge #7 – Savnir’s Dome
Another tough challenge, located at Savnir’s Dome is a challenge for which you will have to fight the Sons of Svanir. When you are there, interact with Bjord’s Banner to start the fight.
You need to defeat Bjord and the two minions which are easy, bjord is not. His attacks are brutal, stay away and slow him down so you can heal yourself and attack from time to time. Don’t be desperate!

Challenge #8 – Warmspring Grotto
You need to commune with the ancient cave spring (pillar of light) to complete the challenge of Warmspring Grotto. On your way, there are several cave spiders and a veteran cave spider.

At level 5, the players roaming around in Tyria will automatically start to generate skill points. These skill points are basically your currency and to have most of the skills under your belt; you will have to collect the most of these points.

In Guild Wars 2, apart from getting the automated points, you can do several skill challenges, which are found in each of an explorable zone. Completing each one of these skill challenges will get you an extra point.

The number of skill challenges in a zone is always shown on the loading screen (when you enter that zone). Most of you will enter the Kessex Hills after leaving Queensdale – the area is pretty big, but it has only five skill challenges. You can also see these challenges on your map; the completed, and the uncompleted ones have separate markers.

For more help on Guild Wars 2, read our Plains of Ashford, Queensdale and Metrica Skill Challenges Guide.

Challenge# 1 – Black Root Cut
The first skill challenge is located in the swamp of Black Root Cut, the far east of Kessex Hills. You can avoid the swamp by dropping onto it from the road above.

The task is simple, just go and interact with the Eternal Portal and two shades will spawn. Kill them! Make sure that you avoid all the other mobs of the area, they are not a part of your fight at the moment.

Challenge #2 – Draithor’s Demesnes
South of the first skill challenge is Draithor’s Demesnes and to get there, you will have to fight off a couple of Draithor creatures first. The skill challenge is inside a cave/swamp, and you have to interact with the Enchanted Meat Rack which is surrounded by many Draithor’s Creatures. Get rid of them and quickly interact with the Enchanted Meat Rack because the creatures re-spawn. It will give you a piece of “Draithor’s Lab’s Powerfully Weird Meat” eat it and you have the skill point.

Challenge #3 – Garenhoff
The third challenge is located in Garenhoff, your objective is to destroy a flame elemental known as Merkessa. You can initiate the challenge by talking to the man next to Master Elementalist Dylane.

Merkessa is a strong opponent, spawns molten areas (AoE) and deadly in close combats. Try to use ranged attacks and prep some buffs and traps before triggering the fight to have an edge over Merkessa. Try to fight with a group after the fight has started, players around you might come and help so it’s easier.

Challenge #4 – Meremoot Hill
The fourth challenge of the Kessels Hills is located in a cave of Maremoot Hill. The challenge itself is pretty easy as all you have to do is to commune with a pillar of light. The harder part is to get there, you will have to face some mobs which include a centaur champion, Harathi Overlord etc. These are spawned randomly – try to go for it when the Overlord has spawned so a group of players can easily take him out and you can get to the pillar without any restrictions.

Challenge #5 – Eukaryan Caves
You have to fight Toratl in this challenge, its located at the top of the Eukaryan caves. Talk to him and the fight will begin.

The fight is pretty easy if you are not stupid enough to stand in his Ol’ Stinky’s poisonous shots (AoE). Toratl’s own combat abilities aren’t that difficult, just attack him when you’re not being engaged by the Ol’ Stinky.

If you are into knowing the history of various regions in Guild Wars 2, then you are lucky enough as the creators of the game have included the missing links in the form of Vistas. These are actually the video clips which will tell you about the rich history of Tyria.

Although, the number of Vistas you can collect from a particular zone are shown on the loading screen, but you will have to put in some time and effort to find them. To help you out in your quest of finding these Vistas, the following guide will serve the purpose of assistance.

For more help on Guild Wars 2, read our Shiverpeaks Jumping Puzzle Solutions.

Vista #1 – Bear Lodge
Location. This one is at the northwest of Vheratha’s Tavern or south of the Bear Lodge, Hall of Legends. The vista is located at a sculpture of a bear and just needs a proper jump onto the ledge nearby, go to the end of the ledge and then jump onto the ice bear.

Vista #2 – Eastern Watchpost
Location. The second vista of Hoelbrak is on the southwestern side of the Eastern Watchpost waypoint, just next to a small mountain. There is a path on the southern side of this mountain and you need to climb onto it and then follow the path to the vista.

Vista #3 – Southern Watchpost
Location. Another easy one, located at the north of the Southern Watchpost waypoint. It is located on the top of the structure. There is a large grey rock on the left side which rises into the sky, stay near to that rock and then head to the edge of the mountain which is just adjacent to the edge of the structure and jump.

Vista #4 – Lake Mourn
Location. The 4th Vista is located at the lake Mourn, just climb up the frozen hill and you can get this one.

Vista #5 – Snow Leopard
Location. The 5th vista is next to the Snow Leopard or the Raven Lodge and is the hardest of Hoelbrak. It is located at the top of a hill, there are numerous icy ledges which make a path towards the vista.

The path itself is pretty simple but what matters more is the time of your jumps. It might take a couple of tries as you will have to practice a little. Also note that, the last ledge – which has the vista is the narrowest and the jump has to be very accurate there.

There is a vast history of Tyria in the game and to explain it even further, Guild Wars 2 have several Vistas – movie clips/cut-scenes which you can play. These vistas will start a mini-movie which explains the happenings and the surroundings of that particular area in detail. You also get some experience points with all the knowledge from these cut scenes.

The number of Vistas in a zone are shown at loading screens (when you enter a zone) and have separate markers for the ones which are discovered/not discovered on the map (M). You might have to go through some tough routes to get to these though; they are hovering in air, next to pillars of light. Press F when you’re adjacent to trigger it.

There are a total of nine vistas in the Kessex Hills! For more help on Guild Wars 2, read our Kryta Jumping Puzzles Solutions.

Vista#1 – Black Haven
Location. Delanian Foothills, Black Haven fortress. The vista is on the top of the tower, run up the ramp and then climb the staircase. There is a wooden walkway on the side, jump onto it and follow the ledges upwards. You will get to another pair of a wooden walkway and ledges again, climb these, and you should see the vista on the roof.

Vista #2 – Wizard’s Fief
Location. The second vista is located in the southeast, Wizard’s Fief. Climb up the mountains and go northeast from Isgarren’s View. All you need to do is climb up the mountain and then jump down on to the ledge which has this vista. It’s not very hard as you can just jump on it or gradually climb downwards. You will also find strawberries and diving goggles in this area.

Vista #3 – Cereboth Canyon
Location. This one is located in the area of Cereboth Canyon, its right next to a huge waterfall. You need to climb up the mountain of this waterfall and then jump on the western side of the river from there.

Vista #4 – Giant’s Passage
Location. Giant’s Passage’s vista is on a high mountain. The path is pretty easy, but it has a couple of bandits and other creatures; you need to go up the mountain from the far north and where the road bends on the southeastern side of the Earthworks bluff. Just keep going up the mountain and walk from the extreme right of it, and you’ll reach to this vista.

Vista #5 – Earthworks Bluff
Location. This one is to the west of the Earthworks Bluff, where logging is going on. Climb the logs piled on the right side of the platform so you can easily jump onto the ledge/platform and walk to the vista.

Vista #6 – Quarryside
Location. Reach to the quarry and climb up the ramp inside it. There is a walkway on your left, jump onto it and then jump across the series of platforms ahead.

Vista #7 – Lychcroft Mere
Location. The vista of Lychcrof Mere is located on the top of a tree, just keep on jumping the different mushrooms, cliff faces and branches to make your way to the top.

Vista #8 – Viathan Lake
Location. Just swim down the lake and you will reach to this vista, watch out for the Krait fishmen and the Blood Witch that spawns nearby.

Vista #9 – Fort Salma
Location. Fort Salma, run up the ramp and then cross the walkway until you reach to the vista, hop over the small wall and grab it.

Guild Wars 2 – Items Upgrade Methods

Items can be upgraded by the following ways; some have better results than the others.

Gathering
The gems you collect during gathering can be used to increase the raw attributes. You can fit them into any item, which has an upgrade slot. The method is very useful for the players who are leveling as it increases some combat stats too. Later on, you might want to use these gems for creating the jewelry.

Drop-items/Rewards
Many creatures such as the elementals drop raw gems and other types of qualities/upgrades (sigils, runes). The higher your level is, more the chances are for these drop items. You will also be rewarded with various upgrades and abilities after completing a story quest. Upgrades and items which are not useful to you can always be sold.

Crafting
All the crafting tiers are able to produce a different type of armor, weapons and the accessories. You can discover or buy different recipes for creating the items with upgrades. Skilled craftsmen will be able to produce better items as compared to the newbies. Some of these recipes have weird costs as they might ask for rare creature drops. It is still a very good method because you exactly know what you are creating and can use it for yourself or sell it to the other players.

Upgrading Items
You can upgrade your items by putting an upgrade item on it. These are crests, medallions and the gemstones. Each one of these items have their specific upgrades to the items they are applied on; some will increase the combat effectiveness, and some will affect other attributes. Note that sigils usually provide direct benefits (increased damage) and non-sigil upgrades are for primary/secondary attributes.

Gemstones
Raw gemstones can be found during your roaming sessions and are drop-items as well. Elementals tend to drop them more as compared to other creatures. These are cheap and easily available!

Medallions
High-level items, they are rare drop items, and you must be level 65 to slot these. Most of these medallions have a hint in their names for the upgrades (Medallion of the Magi increases healing, precision and vitality)

Crests
Crests are like the medallions but are at level 80, they have the upgrades hinted in their names. These are rarer, hard to find, high costy items but give you larger boosts and attribute increases.

Weapon Upgrading via Sigils
Sigils are only used to upgrade the weapons. They are occasionally drop-items but huntsman; artificer and weapon-smith can craft sigils as per their capabilities. You have a broad collection, 37 different types of sigils to choose from – at level eighty.

Armor Upgrading via Runes
The runes are just as the sigils are but for the armor and are made by armorsmiths, leatherworkers and tailors. The bonus per each rune depends on your level and the number of runes of the same type which you have on the slots. There are 52 types of runes (level 80) and most of these effect two of your attributes. Just know that it’s better to use the same type runes on your armor set!

There are three types, which determine the bonus levels you can gain by slotting them. Minor: 2 tiers (no level required), Major: 4 tiers (level 39 required), Superior: (6 tiers with level 60 required)

Upgrading Accessories via Jewels
Jewels are similar to the gems, but the difference is that they have higher-quality upgrades. Depending on the quality of the jewel made, they can increase upto three of your attributes. You can have a total of 9 different types of these jewels on level 80.

Just like Foefire, Battle of Khylo is a PvP map but the secondary mechanic is trebuchets instead of guild lords. The winning team has to grab 500 points with the help of the three conquest points. The trebuchet does not help in gaining any points, but it does give your team some extra power.

The trebuchet is situated right next to your base; any player can interact with it and replace his skills to one of the trebuchet. The skill 2 button will fire/charge your shot, the longer you hold the button – further the trebuchet will fire. It deals massive damage to anybody who gets shot by it and ranges to the capture points.

The gun is destroyable; the enemy team can easily break it down, which will force you to grab a repairing kit from the Clocktower; it’s better to defend it instead of all the hard work.

Khylo is smaller than Foefire and is suitable for the melee users because of the short paths and littered areas. Although, certain areas are very suitable for the long ranged players too! The important point of this map is the Clocktower as it gives you reasonable access to the surrounding areas. The height will help you to easily spot the enemy players so you can inform your trebuchet commander do the rest.

For more help on Guild Wars 2, read our Structured PVP, Errors and Leatherworker Crafting Tips.

Guild Wars 2 – Battle of Khylo Tips

Planning
Always plan ahead, from the very start. Choose your routes, weapons and skills and main objectives. You should know if you’re going to capture the points only or destroy the opponent’s trebuchet first. Players who are going to control their trebuchet should know that they need to be defensive, so choose the skills wisely.

Those who want to capture the points should have good weapons and skills, which will help them to move quickly.

Disperse
You don’t have to move in a large group, being organized and helping each other only when its greatly required is better than being bombarded by the trebuchet. Different groups should have different objectives, all five of the players destroying the trebuchet or capturing a single area is not always that effective.

Trebuchet
The trebuchet is a big weapon, make use of it. It’s a little annoying to control it in the start, but you will get used to the camera. The massive range will help you to target almost anywhere on the map; you should have a player near the Clocktower, who should be spotting the enemies for you.

The fire causes massive damage to the victim and knocks them down as well; the same advantage is given to the enemy side too. Be sure that you don’t ignore their trebuchet (as long as it is being used by someone) Plan and try to take it out even if it’s not being used, their sudden mind-changes will make their work harder as they will have to fix it first. The team with the trebuchet’s advantage will surely be a headache to the other one.

Clocktower and Gantry
The clocktower and the gantry are the two top spots of the game. Undoubtedly, the clocktower gives you a better sight of the map which enables you to guide your trebuchet holder but is the main target of your enemy’s trebuchet as well. If you want to hold the tower, then stay away from the windows so the trebuchet causes no harm. Gantry is an excellent vantage point which lets you to reach the other two capturing points in no time.

Communicate
Make a plan and talk to your team before you start the fight, let them know of everything you see. The right tactics and proper coordination can take you out from almost any situation.

Slopes & Hills
The hills and slope areas have a great advantage/disadvantage to the ranged and melee players. Melees will not be able to attack the ranged players who are standing above; they will choke you to death and immobilize you repeatedly, try to attack from both sides in such situations.

Capture and Stay!
Holding onto a point is not that fun as it is to kill the opponents… but will get you easy and fast points. It’s better to just hold onto what you already have then to put yourself in repetitive fights and risk everything.

Repair Kit
As mentioned earlier, there’s a repair kit right next to the entrance of the Clocktower. If you are unlucky enough to get your trebuchet destroyed, fixing it will be very helpful but that’s if you can really fix it. You are not allowed to use any skills while you’re holding the kit, so it’s better to send a team of two to cover yourself.

Each side has a guild lord who is housed in their respective base and protected by 4 guards (2 casters and 2 soldiers) the opposition has to destroy the base gates first (once breached, can’t be repaired).

Quarry (South), Waterfall (North) and Sanctum located in the center of the map are the three capture points. Blue side will spawn at the north-east, and the Red will spawn at the south-west corners of the map.

Legacy of Foefire is an open map and very suitable for ranged players; it might be difficult for those who only do the melee weapons. The best place to conquer first is the Sanctum (center of the map) as it gives you quick access to the other two.

For more help on Guild Wars 2, read our WvW Tips, Dungeons and Ranger Pets Locations.

Guild Wars 2 Legacy of Foefire Tips

Start With a Solid Plan
You must start the fight with a plan; each player of the team should know his role if he’s going to capture points, attack the guild lord, roam around the map or do all of this. Players who want to capture the guild lord should directly focus on to the gates. Those who want to defend the sanctum should have good defensive skills, if you can control sanctum, you can easily control the whole map.

Disperse
Moving together as a tank might be powerful, but it is not always useful, you should make different groups and assign them different tasks. Some players should move to the sanctum and some to the guild lord, keeping the enemy busy from all sides is a bigger threat than focusing on just one point from the very start.

Protect Guild Lord
As mentioned earlier, you get 100 points for defeating the guild lord. You must not let your opposition have this advantage; you’re always notified when your base is attacked so you can quickly send one of your members to protect the lord as the door and the guards are not very hard to cross through.

Focus on Sanctum
We have already stated that sanctum is the most important area, it gives you extreme control to the map and this is what makes it a tough one as well. You can be assaulted from any side of the area; it’s very difficult to hold on to it.

Once captured, you must be very careful and quickly revive your team-mates. The other two points (waterfall and quarry) do not need that much attention; you should avoid camping there. You can easily control these two if you can hold onto sanctum because it will give you a better view of the whole map.

Be wise in attacking the guild lords: If you have controlled the sanctum and at least one more point of the map, then there is absolutely no reason to use your power against the guild lords, you should try to hold onto what you currently have because you can easily win it from here.

Although, if the results are 50/50 then try to send one of your players to the base, it will attract the enemies and make them to send a backup. This backup will allow your team members to act easily and rule over the map with a better understanding and less force to fight with.

Capture and Stay!
Holding onto a point is not that fun as it is to kill the opponents… but will get you easy and fast points. It’s better to just hold onto what you already have than to put yourself in repetitive fights and risking everything.

The Caudecus’s Manor is located at the North-Eastern corner of Queensdale, it’s a level 40 dungeon (Level 45 for the explorable mode) but easier and shorter than Ascalonian Catacombs.

Prototype Golem (Boss)
Prototype Golem is the first and probably the most difficult boss of the dungeon. It is equipped with the following Mechanics:

Rocket Attack: Hide behind covers and use the projectile reflection to avoid these.

Spinning Flame Attack: Dangerous for melee players only, ranged attacks help here.

Pull: The boss often pulls you first and then do a Spinning Flame attack.

As mentioned above, the rocket attacks are probably the most dangerous. You can avoid them by using the reflecting abilities as they have no indicating circles, but you can see them before they hit you.

The projectiles don’t work all the time, but you should try dodging/hiding behind a cover and the projectiles all together. Keep a safe distance as he might pull you and then perform a Spinning Flame Attack which is pretty easy to dodge.

Ambushers and Guards
You face a champion level Door Guard after defeating the above. He has lots of HP and is a melee character, but you can easily take him down by normal kiting.

Cross the door and fight the trash mobs (Sergeant’s fighters and Separatist fighters) the fighters are easy to fight as they are just a normal mob, but sergeants are veterans and deal more damage, try to make sure that you don’t let them disperse and attack when they are all together.

Wake Sigfast (Boss)
Before you face the boss, you will have to fight his three guards. Two of them (Separatist Lieutenant and Separatist Sergeant) are ranged enemies so you should take down the fighter first and then focus onto the pair. Projectile reflection is handy here as well.

Free Mia Kindleshot
Mia Kindleshot is captured next to a tree which is heavily guarded (Separatist Snipers, Hunting Dogs, Separatist Lt). You should engage the group of hunting dogs, and the Separatist Lieutenant first and then move toward the tree where you will have to fight off two snipers, a separatist lieutenant and a couple of more fighters. They are all easy to fight, make use of the projectiles to avoid being sniped.

Separatist Captain Delana
Two Fighters and a sergeant will accompany Delena, who puts blindness onto the players – victim misses the next attack. Sergeant and Delena are ranged mobs; you are suggested to take the sergeant down and then the fighters. The boss fight is pretty easy, just survive.

Explorable Mode (for level 45 players)
The Explorable mode has three routes and you should be able to grab around 25 tokens.

Save the Butler
You will immediately face a boss when you get onto the third route. You should defeat the companions first and then focus on to the boss.

Reflection is very useful here because the mobs are stupid enough to damage themselves by it. The boss uses his shotgun to attack the players; a hit will knock you back. Use one player to kite him around the area (in circles) so he will stall himself!

After you have defeated the first boss, a basement should open up – there are four turrets set up inside so you should try to pull out a couple of bandits and engage them where the turrets can’t engage you. When you are done with the bandits, get inside and destroy the turrets so you can move to the hallway on the left side of the entrance.

There are two rooms here, and two ranged bandits at the end of the hallway; you must quickly run and enter the second room on your left or the ranged bandits will kill you. This room has two avoidable turrets, follow the path, and you will get closer to the ranged bandits. Move forward to the movable cabinet and activate the button.

The Shado Pan is a new instance which has been added to the Mists of Pandaria Expansion. It is the home to the Shado-pan clan; whose members are sworn to protect Pandaria.

Unfortunately, some Sha have captured areas of the monastery, and you will have to get rid of them. The instance is for level 87 to level 90 players, located at the Kun-Lai Summit zone.

In this guide, we’ll go over the four bosses you must fight to get rid of the Sha influence, and how you should act during each encounter.

First off are Gu Cloudstrike & Azure Serpent:

Gu Cloudstrike & Azure Serpent

Abilities:

Invoke Lightning: The attack will do a significant amount of lightning damage + extra lightning damage to players with-in 5 yards.

Static Field: AOE attack, it has high initial damage and then a little amount of damage every second to anybody who is in it. DURATION: 20 seconds!

The encounter has two phases: one will have Gu Cloudstrike on the ground and the Azure Serpent in the air. The second will have Azure Serpent on land too. The tank has to hold agro on Gu and move him away whenever he does the lightning attack (on the ground) – This AOE attack causes a lot of damage and is really hard to miss, so you should just drag him away.

Some of your DPS should also focus on the Azure because he will come to help the Gu when its health is below 50%.

The Azure Serpent will descend and start fighting from the ground once the Gu’s health drops to 50%; now this is where the tank has to focus on him for a while, and the group has to help with the DPS. The dragon’s lightning breath is a threat, so be careful.

Another very powerful AOE ability which is known as Magnetic Shroud – it will not let your healers heal for a specific time and also damage everybody who is in the AOE. It is turned off after a while and then started again. Because of all the abilities, the Dragon is equipped with, you should be sure to attack him in the air and take out as much health as you can.

When you are done with the dragon, Gu will come out of the meditation and enter into the battle again. This is all the same as phase one but easier because the dragon is dead and there are no static fields.

Master Snowdrift

Abilities:

Fists of Fury: A fast and a heavy attack which does fire damage to anybody in front of Master Snowdrift. It has a cast time so it is avoidable by getting out of the range.

Tornado Kick: All the players in the melee range will be hit by a spinning kick. Mostly targeted towards the player who has agro!

The fight has two phases: one is simple in which you will have to face Master Snowdrift. Stay away from the AOE effects and DPS him down to 50%, avoiding the Tornado kicks and Fists of Fury.

When you’ve eaten 50% of the HP, Master Snowdrift will clone himself into three versions. You will have to just kill one of the clones/original so make sure you keep on striking the one with the lowest HP.

Sha of Violence

Abilities:

Disorienting Smash: Reasonable damage, stuns the victim for 4 seconds.

Smoke Blades: AOE Smoke Attack – Victims inside will be dealt damage per second, they’ll lose the ability of a critical strike for a couple of seconds as well. Although, after the debuff you will gain a 3 second buff known as Parting Smoke which will make your next attack (within 3 seconds) a crit and dealing 100% more damage.

Sha Spike: Spikes will come out of the ground and knock back the players above it.

Enrage: The Sha will gain 50% attack speed once you drain 80% of its health.

This should be an easy fight provided you are most aware of the Disorienting Smash, as it does a reasonable amount of damage. The tank should avoid it, and if he does, the rest of the fight is easy. The attacks are not hard and you will not have to worry about anything but enjoy the smokes and delays.

Taran Zhu

Abilities:

Rising Hate: inflicts shadow damage to a couple of ranged targets

Ring of Malice: AOE effect which lasts for 15 seconds, slows the targets by 80% and does shadow damage.

Sha Blast: The current target will take lots of Shadow Damage and also get knocked back. It is only triggered during Ring of Malice.

Gripping Hatred: AOE ground effect which does damage to everyone inside it, it also pulls the players towards it. You will have to kill the manifestation of the hatred for the effect to clear.

The Hatred mechanic is introduced in this fight.

Sha of Hatred has possessed Taran Zhu, and he will make you generate hatred over time. All the hits you take will generate hatred, whenever your hatred bar has filled, your damage will be increased by 20 percent but your healing will be decreased by 25%. You will also miss 90% of your shots.

This hatred can be cleared by meditating; you will see the procedure on the screen. It is of three seconds, and you cannot move during the meditation.

The tank should be very careful on driving the enemy away from the other players so the ring of malice does not hit everybody. The AOE attacks must be stopped by the ranged DPS, so they don’t spread and pull everybody towards it.

Try to avoid the attacks as they will generate hatred, and you will end up meditating. Just make sure that the tank has all the hard-work, and you manage the group well. Clear all the AOE effects and know that only a good team-work will make this fight easier.

The events of the Lost Island are placed after the Kaon Under Siege. The survivors of the planet are rescued and the person responsible for the outbreak is also known – the scientist is now hiding in a planet known as Ord Mantell and is performing his dirty experiments there. Imperial and Repbulic – both sides have sent a strike force against him, but one is for helping the world and the others want him for themselves.

In this guide, we’ll go over the bosses and tough enemies you will face, and how to defeat them on higher difficulty levels.

Trash MoBs

The trash MoB’s are pretty hectic if the group goes in without any preparation. You have to be careful of the groups who have medics and astromech droids with them. Always aim for the medics as they can heal their team and even the DPS players very quickly. The droids should be a priority as well because their attacks will knock out your allies and make them pretty useless unless you take care at the right time.

Putrid Shaclaw

This is not a tough fight, although the Putrid Shaclaw is a mini-boss. Just avoid the reticules on the ground and keep on attacking from time-to-time.

LR-5 Sentinel Droid

The LR-5 is one of the toughest bosses of Flashpoint. He is the biggest challenge you will face here – one of his attacks can kill you instantly and you must be very careful!

Abilities/Attacks and Surroundings Helping the Boss: Incinerate, Plasma Arc, Experimental Cannon, Energy Coil, Adds, Ground Lava

Ground Lava: The hardmode version has lava on the floor and it will come out of the grates periodically. You will have to run to a safe spot/far away from the grates whenever you see them to glow.

Incinerate: it is the best weapon of the LR-5, it will aim it onto the most threat/ability-wise player so he will have to be very careful. Other players will have to stay away from him because this attack is a 3 second channeled cast that also does AOE damage to everybody who comes in the AOE. For every second you are in the channel, you will lose around 1500 health per stack/second.

Experimental Cannon: This one cannot be interrupted; it is channeled for 6 seconds and will do a damage of 600 every time it hits you after half of a second. Healers should be able to help you here!

Plasma Arc: You can interrupt this too but be sure that the priority is Incinerate as it’s more powerful. This is aimed onto the person who has the most agro.

Energy Coil: This is an energy coil which will do a damage of 800 per second whenever you’re caught inside its beam. It is aimed on a certain player but it has AOE, there will be a reticule beneath the player who is aimed and he can move to safety before the damage is done.

Transgenic Sample Seven

The second boss is not too difficult; he has three main abilities and only one can be interrupted. He will also physically knock the top-scoring players which causes a lot of damage. Just make sure the tank is picking up agro, and stay away from the heavy-damaging attacks.

Project Sav Rak

Another difficult one, but not as much as the LR-5.

Mists of Pandaria expansion will bring a lot of reforms in the World of Warcraft. One of them is the new monk class which has lots of talents (different trees n tiers). Following guide will explain all these talents!

Monk Talent Tree (Tier 1)
The first talent tree is all about your mobility. It has three talents Celerity, Tiger’s Lust and Momentum and all three of these are related to mobility. Celerity will increase the maximum number of charges Roll and Chi Torpedo can; it will also decrease their cool-down by five seconds.

Tiger’s Lust has a 30 second cool down; it will increase your movement speed by 70% and also clear all the movement impairing effects. Momentum increases your movement speed by 25% more (10 seconds) whenever you use the roll of chi torpedo.

It is up to you as how you want to upgrade these. Tanks and healers would prefer Celerity; Momentum would be better for DPS and Tiger’s Lust for the PVPs as its cool down is 30 second.

Monk Talent Tree (Tier 2)
Chi Wave, Zen Sphere and Chi Burst are the abilities which are related to your chi. Chi Wave is an ability which contacts the nearest five enemies/friends and damages/heals them accordingly.

The Zen Sphere will also heal any target beneath the generated sphere (every 2 sec for 16 sec). It also does a minor amount of damage to the foes in the AOE. The Chi Burst is very similar to the Chi Wave as it will heal or damage anybody in its path. Chi Burst has more damage and healing effects, but Chi Wave is a lot easier to use.

Healers and Tanks are suggested to use the Zen Sphere, all these abilities would be good for PVE/PVP but it depends on how you play with them.

Monk Talent Tree (Tier 3)
The third tier is all about the management of your chi; the abilities are: Power Strikes, Ascension and Chi Brew. Power Strikes has a 20-second cool-down; it will generate an additional chi when it lands (or a chi sphere – depends upon the situation).

The Ascension will simply add an extra Chi (now you will have 5 instead of the normal 4.) Chi Brew is very useful; it will get all of your chi back, but it has a cool-down of 90 seconds.

Mists of Pandaria introduced a new talent system which has said good-bye to the 51 point talent trees. Now you have six tiers, and you will have to choose one talent from each tree so when you are level 90 you will only have six talents.

Warrior Talent Tree (Tier 1)
The first tier is related to your charge abilities. You can either increase the mobility or the effects; the talents are Juggernaut, Double Time and Warbringer. The Juggernaut will decrease the cool down of your charge ability by 40% (12 seconds instead of 20).

Double Time will let you to charge twice and then start a normal 20-second timer for the cool down. Warbringer will not change the timer, but it will result in a three-second stun for the target.

Warbriger is good for the PVP and the Juggernaut, Double Time for the PVE. All these abilities are suitable for almost any category though.

Warrior Talent Tree (Tier 2)
The 2nd tier is related to your health and healing. The talents are Enraged Regeneration, Second Wind and Impending Victory. Enraged Regeneration will heal you by 10% instantly and 10% more in the next 10 seconds.

It consumes 60 rage and has 1 minute cool down; the rage cost is canceled if you are enraged. Second Wind will give you 3% health every second whenever your health goes below 35%. It will also get you 20 rage whenever you are stunned or immobilized but over 10 seconds.

Impending Victory is an attack which costs 10 rages; it will also heal you by 10% on a 30-second timer. There is more to it – if you kill an enemy who gives you honor or experience, then your cool down will reset and your next impending victory will heal with 20%!

These three are very different talents, and you should choose them according to your play style. The players who are leveling up should use Impending Victory as they have to fight many enemies, and this will be of a great advantage to them.

Warrior Talent Tree (Tier 3)
These provide more utilities and are related to the warrior shouts. Disrupting Shout, Piercing Hown and Staggering Shout are the talents. Staggering Shout has a 40 second cool down, it will stun any enemy that is within a range of 20 yards and is already snared for five seconds.

Piercing Howl will snare all the enemies within 15 yards of range, it will result in decreasing their movement speed by 50% for a total of 15 seconds. The last ability is the Disrupting Shout, which will affect all the spell-casters within 10 yards. It will interrupt their current spells and also lock their spell school for four seconds, the cool down of this talent is 40 second.

Spelunky has lots of secrets and unlockables. The levels are randomly generated so it’s impossible to pin-point their locations. Although, it is certain that the secret characters are locked inside the coffins and there are numerous ways to unlock these.

Sombrero Man, Hardhat Worker, Pirate and Adventure Hood
These characters are hidden at randomly generated coffins of the level Mines, Jungle, Ice Caves and Temple. You will find one coffin per stage.

Jungle Warrior
Once you have beaten the game once, Jungle Warrior will be unlocked.

Man In Black
You will find his coffin in the haunted castle, to find the haunted castle you will have to go to the Jungle and then search for a randomly spawned tombstone. Below that tombstone is a skull, and you will have to blow it with the help of a bomb.

You should see the entrance to the Haunted Castle now, climb all the way to the top and search for the coffin in this secret level.

Note: You will have to fight some serious enemies in this castle!

Super Meat boy
The meat-boy is in the Worm Innards secret level. To get inside the worm you will have to make him eat you, attach a Damsel (dead or alive) to the sticky worm tongue in the Jungle or the Ice Cave.

If your procedure is correct, the screen will start to shake and after a couple of seconds, the worm will eat you. Usually the character is seen at the lower-most area of the level.

Yang
Yang is in Hell, and for going there you will have to visit the City of Gold first. When you have reached there, search for Necronomicon and defeat the boss. After that, you can search for the door to hell, which is located above the final boss’ lake of lava.

Good Luck!

There are numerous ways to earn credits in the game; which includes the quests, missions and tasks provided by the wealthy players.

One of the major sources of earning is the Galactic Trade Network; buyers and sellers contact each-other and then trade with their requirements. This might not be a very quick method, but once you get some experience; you will enjoy it.

For more help on SWTOR, read our Legacy Character Perks, Augment Slots and Credits Farming Guide.

The Pricing Strategy!
One of the important factors in the market is the force of the price. Everybody puts a little higher than that of his total expenditures on the production of an item. Sometimes, to beat the other sellers one might put on a lower price to get more buyers.

Every seller does it until he is rich already or has other means of earning. You should be sure that your price is not affecting the market’s state as it may harm the general market.

Long run producers know that a big cut in the price is not very useful and not worth the time. Your cuts should not be more then 5-7%, and you should keep it in mind that other sellers are there too. You may make a lot of profit or might have to bare a lot of loss.

High-Price items have a constant price, but they change too. It is usually when a new seller comes into the market (low-price items are easy to get so buyers and sellers keep on entering the business) and forces you to share the profit.

There are times when low-priced items make a lot of profit too, as if there are no other sellers of that particular item, and it is in a great demand.

You should also keep a record of the general market, the prices on what the goods are sold and the prices which the buyers prefer. The market keeps on changing constantly, but the average prices are usually the same.

When you have some experience in the market, you will know when the prices will rise and when the prices decline – This will help you in the future aspects and long-run.

How To Sell Items in Galactic Trade Network
Choosing what to sell is a very important factor, if you choose something, which has no demand, then all your hard work is useless.

Experienced players suggest to search and sell materials as all the crafters are in need of supplies. They want to save the time and directly craft items instead of searching the materials themselves.

Cybertechs, Armormechs and Armstechs usually ask for Scavenged metals or compounds. Consumables and the buff items are good in the market as well; they are quickly consumed, and their demand is higher. You should not invest in Weapons and Armory unless you are selling the top-most.

Nobody wants to spend their money on bad metal; all you will do is waste your energy and time. Although, if you are very sure that your items are quality and good in price…then you should expect a lot of profit just like the other case.

How To List The Items in Market
Now that you know what to sell, you should also know that how and where to sell them. You can simply sell your items by listing them onto the Galactic Trade Network.

Make sure that you list them properly, and they attract the buyers. Crafters are in the need of materials, so they should go into the Crafting Materials category. As these items are usually sold in bulk, their prices are a little cheaper than the ones which are sold separately.

Your packs (number of items) should be reasonable, not very much and not very least. Four would be a good number for the crafting metals. The artifact quality crafting materials are more valuable and rare. These items are to be sold separately as they are more expensive and few people buy a couple of them at once.

In short, you should observe the GTN before you start your business. Look at the items which are sold the most and the ones which are just lying there.

See the profit/loss margin and then decide wisely – Items, which are useful but not in the market will get you a lot of profit if you can keep a hold on them. Again…every business has its ups and downs so don’t give up so early!

The Secret World’s basic gameplay will get you a lot of crafting materials. You will learn about crafting as you make progress in the game, experience will tell you that what you should buy or sell and what to keep or throw.

For more help on The Secret World, read our Console Commands and Decks Guide.

Things To Remember While Crafting

You can open the crafting menu by pressing the “Y” Button.

Each stack can be broken by holding the shift button and pressing the left click.

The gadgets you craft are similar to the potions but are not consumed!

Try not to sell weapons, talismans and the runes. These are very good at disassembling and will help you to craft per your needs.

The potions might help you to get easy runes but this is not always the correct option as they have other uses too!

Crafting Missions
The Crafting missions will definitely help you to learn more about crafting. “Zen and the Art of Weapon maintenance” located outside the Sheriff’s station will help you to learn about weapon’s crafting whereas the Sonya (Raven’s Nook) will teach you regarding glyphs during the mission “The Occultist’s Cookbook”. These are very easy missions and will teach you a lot; do these before you make plans for the long-run!

How to Craft in The Secret World

The crafting here is just as the one of Minecraft. You have to arrange the items in the rows x columns with the proper manner to craft an item. Here are a number of examples:

Crafting #1

Crafting #2

Crafting #3

Crafting #4

Crafting #5

How To Gather Crafting Materials/Items in The Secret World

You do not get the items like you will in the most MMORPGs – you will have to disassemble weapons, glyphs, potions and talismans to get your required items as you won’t be able to harvest the raw materials.

Basics

The weapons will always get you the items of a lower level than that of the weapon.

The glyphs and the talisman will be lost once you disassemble a weapon.

One of the most common things a new player tries to grab is a secondary weapon, if you are lucky enough then you might find it as a drop item but most of you will have to do the hard work.
