Agents of Mayhem Will Be Supported On The Xbox One X and PS4 Pro

Volition has gone into detail on how Agents of Mayhem will be boosted up by the Xbox One X and the Playstation 4 Pro before it releases.

Volition’s upcoming game Agents of Mayhem will be getting support on the Xbox One X and the Playstation 4 Pro, according to the studio. The game, which is Volition’s first since Saints Row 4: Gat Out Of Hell back in 2015, will support HDR on Playstation 4 and PC but will be upgraded differently.

Agents of Mayhem canonically takes place after Saints Row 4, specifically the ending you get where the Saints are able to re-create the Earth after it’s destroyed by the aliens that capture the group and put them in a Matrix-like computer simulation. In the aftermath of that game, the Saints formed the group MAYHEM in order to combat the LEGION league of supervillains.

At least two members of the old Saints Row crew will be available to play in the game, including Pierce (who is now an agent of MAYHEM under the alias “Kingpin”) and Johnny Gat (as DLC). The game will be taking place in the city of Seoul in South Korea, and players will be able to select three different agents at a time and run around the city with them, doing missions or just exploring like a regular Saints Row game.

According to Volition, if you play the game on a Playstation 4 Pro or an Xbox One X, you’ll be seeing larger amounts of vehicles and pedestrians, along with upping the resolution and look of the city and the game as a whole. The game will be running at at least 30 frames per second and

Agents of Mayhem will be coming out in August, and will have over a dozen characters to play as across a variety of agents as you fight LEGION and try to save the world. The game will be coming out on the Playstation 4, the Xbox One, and PC, so you can get it on whatever sort of platform you have.
