Destiny 2 Beta is coming our way on PC soon so if you are a PC gamer and would like to try out Destiny 2 beta, here is everything you need to know about the beta as well as the release plans for the game, system specs, and much more.

The original Destiny never released on PC so these are exciting times for Destiny fans on PC. First, let’s get some essential information out of the way. Destiny 2 is releasing on consoles and PC later this year. It comes to PC a month later than consoles, October 24. The title is not being developed by Bungie while its publisher is indeed Activision.

Destiny 2 Beta Date on PC

Destiny 2 beta is starting sometime in August but there is no final release date mentioned for the time being. However, it is rumored to be in the final week of August. Meanwhile, the beta on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One starts on July 18 and July 19 respectively.

Vicarious Visions

The publisher outsourced Destiny 2 PC  to a 2nd party studio, Vicarious Visions. According to Activision, the game will not be a console port.

One of the key factors we looked at when coming to PC is that we don’t want anybody looking at the game as a console port. We wanted to make sure that it feels like a PC game, it plays like a PC game.
