Bungie Asks Players To Be Careful While Linking Their Bungie And Blizzard Accounts For Destiny 2
Destiny 2 is set to launch this fall and fans are excited to get their hands on the game. Bungie is looking to change a lot of things in the upcoming game but, also intends to retain the core of the franchise. Recently, Bungie revealed that players will be able to join their Bungie accounts with Blizzard accounts and now the studio has asked the players to be careful while doing it.
Bungie has warned players while linking their Bungie accounts with Blizzard accounts, as when the player will link their Xbox Gamertag or PSN ID with the new account the old one will be orphaned and players will not be able to access it.
If the PSN ID, Xbox Live Gamertag, and Blizzard BattleTags are unlinked from a Bungie.net profile, the profile will be orphaned. This is permanent, and access cannot be granted to an account that has been orphaned.
One of the main issues with the first game was the lack of a proper narrative or answers relating to the Travelers existence. However, Bungie is aiming to change all that in Destiny 2. According to Bungie, they hope players will complain about how many stories they have baked into the game.
We’re learning from and listening to all the feedback we got on Destiny 1, and we’re applying it. I hope people complain about how much story we have. That’d be the Reddit thread I’d like to read. ‘Too much damn story [makes angry typing gesture].
Also, Bungie has revealed that players will be able to transfer their clans from Destiny to Destiny 2. Also, the class will support new features but, all of this will come at a cost.
Destiny is a first-person action shooter in development at Bungie and is scheduled to launch this fall for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
