Assassin’s Creed Origins Features That Took Us by Surprise
Assassin’s Creed Origins is coming our way later this year and developers are making they bring our the best experience possible after a year long break. Assassin’s Creed Origins is set in Egypt tells the story of the Origin of Assassin’s Brotherhood.
The game already looks like a worthy candidate for one of the best Assassin’s Creed games for a number of reasons. Ubisoft finally seems to have learned from their mistakes and took notice of feedback.
Not Straying Away From the Plot
For the first time in years, the developers are finally putting more focus on the actual plot of Assassin’s Creed. The new game will focus on the Origin of the Assassin’s Brotherhood. There will be more focus on where things are and where they are going.
For a while, the enemies in Assassin’s Creed games have been repetitive. However, diversification is the name of the game when it comes to Origins. Diverse and class-based enemies are added to this year’s Assassin’s Creed game. Assassin’s Creed II had a strong focus on enemies but the following installments not only strayed away from the main storyline but also showed less focus on enemies.
Combat System and Stealth at the Helm
Lots of games are learning from Dark Souls and Assassin’s Creed Origins is not different. The combat is pretty similar to Dark Souls – Dodge, Perry, Counter, Short, and Long attacks, and the ability to lock on a single enemy. The impetus is now on placement and range as attack have a major role to play. You will also be able to dual-wield weapons and use the shield to defend yourself.
So Many Weapons
There are so many different types of weapons you can use in Assassin’s Creed Origins. You have bows, arrows, swords, knives, and much more at your disposal.
After the events of Assassin’s Creed II and onwards, Juno is a character we wanted to see more of and know where the story going. However, modern day setting was ditched and we didn’t see anything concrete since Ezio’s trilogy and Desmond’s death. However, Juno is back which also indicates a proper focus on modern day events in Origins./
Assassin’s Creed Origins is releasing later this year on consoles and PC.
