Nintendo Switch Will Not Be As Successful As Wii, Says Micheal Patcher

While Nintendo is hoping for Nintendo Switch to be as successful as Wii but, one analyst thinks that it won’t happen and it is highly unlikely.

Nintendo Switch is selling like hotcakes and Nintendo seems to be quite happy with the success of the hybrid console and according to a report, the company is looking to produce 18 million units by the end of the current fiscal year. While, Nintendo is hoping for Switch to be as successful as Wii but, one analyst thinks that it won’t happen.

According to the industry analyst, Michel Patcher who recently talked about how long Nintendo Switch can go in terms of sales in the console market. According to Patcher, Nintendo Switch will sell 50 million units over time but, will not be able to reach the level of success of Wii.

Overtime Switch will be fine it will do 50 million if the price comes down the curb. The question though is will it do a hundred? I don’t think so that’s 20 million a year. 10 Million a year for 5 years for sure,20 Million a year ever probably not.

In related news, hackers have dug up that Switch has built-in NES Emulator. According to hackers, the built-in NES emulator in Nintendo Switch is named Flog, however, very little in known about the emulator. Nintendo has already announced that NES games will be coming to Switch and Super Mario Bros. 3 and Dr. Mario are confirmed for Switch release.
