FIFA 18 is just a few months away from launch and fans are eager to know what EA Sports has to offer with their upcoming soccer title. FIFA Ultimate Team has been a part of FIFA games since FIFA 09 and FIFA 18 will also feature it and EA Sports have revealed that FIFA 18 Ultimate Team mode will be showcased at Gamescom 2017.

EA Sports has promised that FIFA 18 Ultimate Team mode will be different and improved compared to previous titles in the franchise and devs will give us the first glimpse at the game at Gamescom 2017. According to creative director Matt Prior, the event will be an opportunity for the studio to showcase the mode to gamers.

In related news, Alex Hunter, FIFA 18’s protagonist, has his very own Twitter account and it is being torn to shreds by other users probably because of Alex is a fictional character in FIFA 18. It all started with really a convincing tweet directed towards Alex and it is safe to say that gamers found this whole thing quite cringeworthy.

FIFA 18 will also launch for Nintendo Switch, however, EA has revealed that the Switch version will not include the single player campaign and also will not be developed on Frostbite Engine. Switch version will be developed on a different game engine from the PS4, Xbox One, and PC version as EA has revealed that Frostbite engine will be exclusive to PC, Xbox One, and PS4 versions.

FIFA 18 is a sports game in development at EA and will launch on September 29, 2017, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
