File Sizes for Splatoon 2 and Mario + Rabbids Revealed, Much Smaller than BotW

We now have some details regarding the file size for the upcoming Splatoon 2 and Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. If downloaded digitally, Splatoon will require 3.1 GB of space and Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle will require 2.3 GB of storage space. When compared to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, this doesn’t seem like something massive.

For the sake of comparison, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild weighed in at 13.4 GB, Mario Kart 8 takes up only 6.6 GB, and the recently release ARMS takes 2.2 GB. It goes without saying that you won’t have to clear a whole lot of space when it comes to installing Splatoon.

In related Splatoon 2 news, Nintendo of America recently announced that the upcoming Nintendo Direct will solely focus on Splatoon 2. According to NoA, this special Nintendo Direct will showcase some of the new features and will serve as a re-FRESH-er for those who haven’t been keeping tabs on the game. The upcoming Nintendo Direct is scheduled to air this Thursday, Jul. 06, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. EST / 07:00 p.m. PST.

Splatoon 2 is scheduled to hit the store shelves on Jul. 21, 2017 exclusively for Nintendo Switch. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, on the other hand, is scheduled to launch on Aug. 29, 2017.
