Xbox One X Confirmed Games

Microsoft had a strong showing of its Xbox One X at its E3 2017 press conference with a slew of third-party games that will be launch exclusive for the console. However, gamers were not happy about Microsoft not showing many first-party titles for the 4K consoles and now Microsoft has responded to the criticism.

Speaking with GamerTagRadio, Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg responded to the criticism that Microsoft has been receiving over the lack of new AAA exclusive titles for Xbox One. According to Greenberg, they showed enough games as showing too many will also generate criticism from the community.

We felt like we showed a lot of great AAA games. It’s tough because if you show too many AAA games, people are gonna be like ‘oh man, all you’re showing us are big blockbusters, we want to see more variety and diversity’. We just showed everything. But with that said, largely what we showed was games that are going to launch between now and E3 next year.

Take our first party stuff. Forza will be out, Crackdown will be out, Sea of Thieves, Super Lucky’s Tale, State of Decay 2, all will be launching before E3 next year. So we showed you big blockbuster exclusives that you will be able to play over the next year, in addition to Assassin’s Creed this holiday, in addition to a great variety of all those great indie titles that are coming out- like Cuphead. And that’s an exclusive.

However, that does not mean that Microsoft has no AAA exclusives in development. According to Phil Spencer, the company has signed deals for Xbox One exclusives and there is no point of showing them now as they will come out after 2-3 years.

Sony has dominated the console market since the beginning of this console generation and things are even worse for Xbox One in the Japanese market. However, Microsoft is no mood of giving up on the Japanese market as Xbox One X will come to Japan.
